#GodIsWithUs
“The angel's message to us is do not look to the empty tomb for Jesus. Look now to filled up lives. We live in a new age now. Jesus is with us and in us and among us now. Remember his very last words in Matthew's gospel? I will be with you always to the end of the world, which ends up that my Matthew ends the gospel just the way he began it. He told us that the one who was to be born and laid in a manger's name was Emmanuel. God is with us now.”

#SpiritAmongUs
“So why does Matthew then picture his church on stormy seas tossed by earthquakes? Well, when we realize who fully shocking this news is, we probably would quake too. The good news of this Easter is that Jesus is out there in all the people who hunger for food, friendship, compassion, who are strangers who don't think, talk, or look like us, who are imprisoned by fear, prejudice, or violence. The good news also is that Jesus is in here within us. We have his spirit.”
