“And the apostle Paul is writing to the church at Corinth and he's saying, listen, he appeared to 500 witnesses and some of them are still alive right now. In other words, Paul is saying, you can check me out on this. There's some peep, there might have been some people in the Corinthian church sitting there hearing that letter read and they would've went, oh, yeah. I was one of them. I saw him. So, if 500 people see the same thing on the same day, at the same time, it's probably not a hallucination. And so because of the veracity of that truth and because of the veracity of them seeing Jesus, people clung to that even to death when people tried to get them to recant, say it didn't happen. Say it didn't happen. No. They laid their lives down. Listen, they wouldn't lay their lives down to protect a lie.”

“I know it's not nice to talk about. In the twenty first century, we don't like to talk about sin and and death and and guilt and heaven and hell. We don't like to talk about it but it's still biblical truth. Yes. And so I have a mandate to share truth with you even if it's uncomfortable. Just don't don't leave until the end. For the wages of sin is death. But see, here's the good news. God sent his one and only son, Jesus Christ, who came and lived a perfect life. He went to the cross and he died on the cross. And when he did that, he paid the price for all of our sins. Sin, debt paid, wages fulfilled, debt canceled.”
