“``The message of the resurrection is the key. This verse is the key to all of this. And sadly, what we've seen happen is people will they will strip out the message of the church and think they can still retain the unity and retain the theology and retain the focus and it goes away. When we lose that right there that the Lord Jesus came, he died for us and he rose again, when we walk away from that, are destroying the core of the church because that is who we are right there. That's what unifies us the most. Our theology, our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.”

“And so the Lord's preparing their hearts for a coming storm. He's preparing the church to expand through evangelism forced missions so to speak. They're gonna be sent out going all over the place because they're being persecuted and they go joyfully sharing the gospel. The church grows by evangelism and it survives by generosity. It grows by evangelism by sharing the gospel but it survives by people being generous and by us turning loose of the things that we have and saying, Lord, this is yours.”

“I think he does that to us at times too. Sometimes he calls us to begin to unloosen our hands that are wrapped around things that we think are so important because he's about to do something. He's about to send us somewhere. Or he's gonna show us that all these things that we've been collecting mean absolutely nothing. They're just it's just junk. It's all gonna burn up one day. All the trinkets and all the things we think are special. God's like, it's not special. Well, this is my granddad's land. So what? It's God's land.”

“This is not what's happening here. This is not Marxism. And there have been people who've tried to make the case for Christian Marxism with this text right here and that is not true. It is a lie. You see their faith drove them to be generous. The miracles they saw being performed daily reminded them that God was at work. Salvation was happening in mass around them and they were excited about this. And the Holy Spirit was he was causing them to live in faith and belief to the point they were willing to give away the stuff they had and admit nothing to them. That's what's going on. This is a spiritual movement. It's not a social movement at all.”
