#DontQuitTheHarvest
“So, this morning, maybe you're tired of waiting. Maybe you've been praying. Maybe you're sick. Maybe you've been suffering. James is telling us, don't quit before the harvest. Don't quit. Maybe your life hasn't been fair. Maybe you've been worrying about something that you that you really haven't prayed about. Bring that to God. Maybe somebody you love is wandering. Don't just talk about them. Go after them. Maybe God has spoken to you repeatedly during these five weeks, but you've you've done nothing with it. James would say, stop just listening to the message and start doing something with it.”

#ComeToJesus
“Maybe you're not a believer today. Maybe you haven't surrendered your life to Christ, you haven't not been baptized. So don't misunderstand working out your faith, because Christianity isn't about hard work, that you're gonna work hard enough that maybe God will save you. Because the gospel says Jesus has already done that what we could never do. You've sinned, But Jesus went to the cross for that sin. He died for your place, and He rose from the grave. And He offers forgiveness, and He offers you a new life today, and He calls you to trust Him and follow Him. You don't work your way to Jesus. You come to Jesus.”

#BringGodIntoIt
“So this sec this section to me is incredible. James says, if you're suffering, what do we do about it? Pray. And if you're cheerful, guess what? We get to praise when we're cheerful. James says, if you're sick, what do we do about it? Pray. James says, guess what? If you're struggling with sin, what do we do? Confess and pray. James is basically saying whatever you're facing, you need to bring God into that situation. Whatever you're facing. But we sometimes, we, you know, well, I guess all we can do is pray. We say, all I can do is pray about it. Prayer isn't waving the white flag because we've run out of auctions.”

#DontGiveUpOnGod
“Key words, we can't give up. James is telling us, don't give up on the process. Don't give up on God. Don't give up on that prayer. Don't give up on these things. Be patient in the Lord. And if you're like me, that's the hardest part. I am not a very patient person. I want results, and I want results right now. And if I don't get results, I start to push start to push a little bit. James is saying, we can't do that with God. But don't give up. Just because you can't see what God is doing doesn't mean God isn't doing anything.”

#ComeHomeToJesus
“So we've spent five weeks working out our faith. And now, let's work it out in our community. Let's pray. Let's invite. Let's reach. Let's love. Let's go after the wandering. And next Sunday, when somebody walks through those doors because you invited them, let's make sure they discover something bigger and better than just a worship service. Let's make sure that they encounter Jesus Christ. Let's make sure they encounter the love of Christ. Let's make sure they encounter the love of God because, ultimately, our message isn't simply come back to church. Our message should be, come home to Jesus.”

#PossessionsAreTemporary
“But James says, don't put your faith in something that eventually is going to rot. Our stuff in this world is just junk. If you really think about it, everything that we own of this world is just junk is what the Bible is telling us, that it will all rot away one day. So there's nothing wrong with having possessions until your possessions have you.”

#MoneyIsNotGod
“But here's what he's telling these people. Money is a terrible god. And I think that we can look at this too as money is a terrible god. As Americans, I think that's probably 90% of our focus is on money, whether we wanna think about like that or not because we have to think about our jobs, or we think about bills, and we have to think about if you're a homeowner, then you've got three things always broke down at once. Right? And so you're always got this always have money, money, money. How do I get more money? How do I pay this? How do I do that? But money is a terrible god because money promises security it cannot guarantee.”

#PrayerFirstNotLast
“Too many times, I think, we put prayer off until it's it's the very last resort that we have. That I've been trying to fix this on my own, and now that I can't fix it on my own, guess what? Now I'm gonna start praying about it because that's all I have left to do is pray about it. And James is telling us we need to be in prayer all the time. We need to pray about those situations all the time. Don't make prayer your last resort.”
