“``could it be that the miracle is coming on the back of an instruction? because we were anticipating something else that was familiar. God, we're about to miss you because we can't discern the instruction or the blessing in just obeying what you said. Father, don't allow us to be blinded by familiarity. don't want to get comfortable saying I know you. I only wanna say I know you from the standpoint of having relationship with you, but I don't wanna say I know you as in I've mastered you. God, I have not mastered you. As I keep walking with you, there's more to discover. There's more to learn. There's more for me to see.”

“Not realizing that the rock is a type and shadow of Christ and Christ would only die once. He would only be struck once. I can't let you strike it again, Moses. The command is now speak to the rock. Because the rock, it the the the this whole process is bigger than what you perceive. Right. Right. It's not just a process. It's prophetic. But because of your familiarity, you will miss a prophetic moment. Because of your process of familiarizing yourself with former methods. now you're about to miss the miracle of the moment. Because moments have to be captured right then and there. You don't get moments back. Right. With god, god curates moments. It's called kairos.”

“I don't wanna miss God in this season because I can have walked with God so often to where I become familiar with what I believe to be God's trend but when god switches it up on me. If I'm not careful, I'll kill Isaac because the first command said kill him. But now that I'm getting ready to kill him, I can't hear that he's saying, don't touch him. Familiarity with god will say, well, the people are thirsty again. The first time god brought me to this point, the lord says, strike the rock. Well, here's another rock. And my familiarity with god will say, well, because he's did it this way last time. I need to strike it again.”

“You see, ladies and gentlemen, they could not embrace his essence because of their experience with his expression. They had no revelation of his true nature because they only remembered his nurture. And what they didn't understand about his ministry strategy was that he taught to till. taught to till. He taught to till. Time he taught, he tealed. He taught and he tealed. Through the teaching, the soil of one's heart would be tealed and made ready for the seed of the word to take root, which in turn would produce faith in them to experience evidence that would validate God's word as true. Remember, the text said in verses 53 through 54, I mean, bible, after arriving home, Jesus taught. Why? Because word always precedes work.”
