#ProclaimJesus
“``If your trust and faith is Jesus, then you've got a job to do. You've got to take a nod from John the Baptist and you've got to start being a proclaimer of Jesus. It isn't the show isn't about you folks, the show is about Jesus. This life, the breath in your lungs was given for one purpose and one purpose only, to show Jesus, to proclaim Jesus, to be a voice for Jesus in everything you do.”

#PointPeopleToJesus
“``But the heartbeat of this passage, one of the things we cannot miss is this word proclamation. John's entire revolved around introducing people to Jesus. You can't miss it. I mean, John had one mission and that was to proclaim the name of Jesus. He didn't build his own platform, his deepest desire was for people to meet Christ. And I just wonder friends, I wonder if that could be said about us. Can it be said about you? When when people leave a conversation with you, do they remember your opinions? Do they remember your frustrations? Or do they leave being reminded of Jesus? Think about that.”

#VoicePointingToChrist
“``So they said, they asked him if he was Elijah. He said no. They asked him if he was the prophet Moses. Again, he said he said no. And finally, he quotes Isaiah 40 verse three. He says, I'm a voice calling out in the wilderness, which, of course, I love that description of John. John, he doesn't describe himself as a a celebrity. He doesn't describe himself as a as a great prophet. He simply says, I am a voice. I'm just a voice. And what does a voice do? A voice just communicates a message. John says, I'm just here to communicate a message that someone's coming greater than me. Don't look at me, look at the one who's coming. He pointed everybody towards Christ.”

#TruthDrawsCrowds
“``You know what's interesting? That still happens today. Right? If you just speak truth, you'll be surprised how many people will flock to you because they need it. And it's not because they're flocking to you, they're flocking to that truth. The truth that Jesus is Lord and that Jesus brings hope and Jesus brings life. That's a message that the world needs and the world is so hungry for it. They're hungry today, but they were hung they were hungry thousands of years ago. It's a message that never gets old because our soul needs it. It needs it. And John was a proclaimer of the truth.”
