#MarkedByGod
“```They left him outside. They left him in the field, but I come to tell somebody that that place can leave you out and still not be canceled with God. Some of us have spent too much time worrying about who didn't invite us, who didn't call us, who didn't recognize us, who didn't open the door, who didn't put our name on that list, who didn't think we belong in the room. But if God has something for you, being left off that list cannot take you out of his plan because their list is not the final. Their opinion is not final. Their rejection isn't final, and their oversight is not final. When God has marked you, what people missed about you cannot erase what God placed for you.”

#UsedWithoutFittingIn
“But I came to tell somebody that God has never needed you to fit in before he could use you. Let me say that again. God has never needed you to fit in before he could use you. Because sometimes we think usefulness is tied to acceptance. We think being chosen means everybody has to understand us. We think being called means everybody has to approve us, but God doesn't work like that. God has a way of putting his hand on people that other people would have passed over. God has a way of seeing value when other people only saw differences.”

#PrivatePrepPublicPurpose
“That means your private season may be preparing you for a public assignment. Sometimes God will teach you will teach you away from the crowd. Sometimes God will build you where nobody can see you. Sometimes God will let you serve in a place where nobody applauds, nobody calls your name, and nobody gives you credit. But don't quit. Keep serving, keep learning, keep praying, and keep growing. Keep showing up because when time is right, God knows exactly where to find you.”

#NotForgottenByGod
“Being overlooked doesn't mean you have also been forgotten. The second thing this text teaches us that David is in the field while his brothers are in the house. The prophet is at the house. The oil is at the house. The opportunity is at the house. Everybody is at the house, and David is somewhere outside taking care of sheep. David doesn't even know that his name is about to come up. Somebody needs to hear me today. God can be working on your behalf in rooms you haven't even walked in yet. While David is working, God is moving. David is serving. God is arranging. While David is awaiting, God is preparing. While David is out of sight, David is not out of God's mind.”
