#ChooseToBelieve
“I choose to believe. I choose to sit. I choose to orient my heart to God. I choose to take the wounds of my heart and give them to him because I can't carry them. They're too much. It's too much. The water is overwhelming the boat, Lord. I can't do this. Either stop the storm, wake up, or I'm going down with you. Remain, remaining.”

#AbideInTheVine
“You know, Christ is the true vine. The father is the vine dresser. Our job is to remain on the vine. That's it. God will give us what we need. He will give us what we need if we remain in him. And the word is nuanced as well. When we when we think of remaining, initially when I had thought of this sermon, it was like, oh, repent. That's the r word. But that's so remaining requires repentance daily. Right? Remaining is it's serious work. It's serious work.”

#CryOutInTheStorm
“There's nothing wrong going to God in the storm and waking him up. There's nothing wrong with doing what what I had to do in that church that day, which was basically say, God, like, I'm I'm out. I I don't feel you. I feel like I don't know you. I don't trust you. I'm broken by a hand that I perceive to be your hand, and I I don't like it, and I don't like you. I think that's a normal question to have. I think it's a normal human response when the when the storms hit, but the response from him to us is, okay, where is your faith, and where is your God? If I'm honest with myself in that season of life, my God was not Jesus, my God was other things.”
