#PeaceGuardsHearts
“``And then the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds in Jesus. This is the better way. It's not pretending that nothing's wrong. It's not pretending that we don't care. It's not believing that nothing bad will ever happen, but it's knowing I can bring everything to my father. I can be honest with him. I can ask him for exactly what I need. I can thank him for who he is, and I can trust him with the outcome. And I can let him be a parent to me. I can let him be a dad to me.”

#ThankfulFaith
“I thank you that even if it takes a while, even if it doesn't look like what I would love it to look like or what I think it should look like, we're gonna be okay because you're gonna make sure that we're okay. I thank you that you have a solution even though I can't see it yet and I thank you that you're gonna make that solution clear to me in time. Can you feel the faith rising? That is what thanksgiving does. It's not the power of positive thinking. It's the power of setting our thinking on truth through thanksgiving because thanksgiving reminds us of who he is. And we need to keep fixing our minds on what on who he is and what he can do rather than continuing just to to tunnel vision down onto the thing that is causing us anxiety and worry.”

#GodIsNear
“The Lord is near. The Lord is near. He's not distant. He's not passive. He is close by. His help is right here. He that that word near incorporates the imagery of being held in the nook of his arm. God's got it, and God's got you. Yeah. God's got you. And this is what it means. It means I can trust him with it. Even if it doesn't look the way that I want it to, I can trust him with it because he knows he knows best. He knows what is for my good. He knows best, and I'm gonna be okay. This person is gonna be okay. I can't I can't picture what that looks like because the situation just seems so impossible, but I believe it to be true. I'm gonna anchor myself in. That is that is who you are, God.”

#LetGodBeDad
“And if you find yourself avoiding praying about something that you're worrying about, I would lovingly suggest that you are living your life as an orphan, trying to fend for yourself when God is saying, let me be your dad. to me. Tell me what's bothering you. Let me help you. He wants to be our dad, and so many of us are just fighting to get by by ourselves. We're fending for ourselves. We'll talk to god about it, but we're not willing to actually let him be our dad. We've got to let him parent us.”
