#HopeAnchoredInChrist
“Not vague optimism or wishful thinking, but something that is alive because Christ is alive. It's a hope that's not anchored in circumstances which can change day to day, but a hope that's that's anchored in the resurrection of Christ, which has not, cannot, and will not ever change. That is the hope that we celebrate that we have. But Peter also realizes that faith does not remove the trials that we experience in our lives. That that we will experience trials. But he gives meaning to those trials.”

#GenerosityInChrist
“That when Christ is the center of one's life, possessiveness gives way to generosity. And that's what was going on. That they were so generous with their gifts and and things that they shared with one another that everything was in community and how beautiful that was. And that deep sense of awe and the wonders and signs that the people saw attracted them to that church. That first reading is so full of what the church can and should and will be like when Christ is present in it.”
