#ScarsTellLove
“Our lord retained the scars. He could have appeared to them as he appeared prior to his crucifixion and death, but he chose to appear with his scars, with his wounds because he knew that it would be good for his disciples, it would be good for you and me to see his scars. For by those scars, he would heal the wounded hearts of his friends. By his scars, he would heal our wounded hearts, brothers and sisters. Jesus' scars tell us of his love.”

#GraceInOurScars
“Brothers and sisters, it is our bumps and our bruises and our hurts are the places where we experience the grace of God. We think we can make it through life in spite of our scars, but maybe, just maybe, it's because of the scars that we all bear. We think we have faith in spite of our doubts, but maybe it turns out we have faith because of our doubts. Because it is grace, brothers and sisters, that shows up in our broken places, in the places where we're wounded and need healing.”
