#BackToTheSource
“``Whenever we feel lost and do not remember who we are, we come back to the source of life. We come back to God in worship. And we hear the stories of scripture that tell of this amazing God who does not give up on a sinful, broken, and rebellious world. Here we meet the God who acts to redeem the world, to restore you and me, to restore the creation. Here we meet and are drawn forward by the divine currents of forgiveness, healing, and salvation. The currents that flow through the life of all things and lead us ever closer to our ultimate destiny in god.”

#GraceOverDarkness
“And the unclean spirits, they know exactly what they're up against. They recognize Jesus as the son of God. And they have been fighting against the divine current of goodness and grace. Fighting against God's healing, forgiving, saving power. And in this encounter, we see the current of divine love and grace flowing through the world and driving out the brokenness of this man's life. Now with all the forces that press in upon us, it's hard to know which force is the strongest. But the force of God's amazing love in Jesus Christ is the most powerful current of all. This current leads all things to God.”

#FaithThroughSuffering
“But the disciples who immediately catch sight of what God is doing in Jesus Christ follow him gladly without hesitation for their time of uncertainty about the strength of the divine current and the universal flow of life will come later. It will be in the Garden Of Gethsemane and at the crucifixion where they will run and hide in disbelief that the flow of God's love must pass through the deep waters of suffering and even death to arrive at life again. And still, the divine power of God's redemptive purposes flow on.”

#HealingBeyondBody
“And he knew that physical healing is only one part of healing. That God comes to heal broken relationships, and God comes to heal emotionally and spiritually, and God comes to give us that final healing that only comes through death when we are reunited with God. And he understood that prayer, prayer is the means through which we are connected to the divine currents that flow through the tempestuous storms of life and lead us to God.”
