#HospitalityWelcomesAll
“All of those are good things. They're worth celebrating and it's precisely because they're good that we can confuse them for the highest possible good, which by definition can only be God. And it's only when we put the Lord first, will all these other things, all these other relationships, all these other loves and priorities be in their right order? Only then will they really work the way God intends when they are loved under”

#InviteAndTrustTheSpirit
“I'm very grateful that my parents have always supported me following the call of Jesus in my life. But sometimes I wonder what would it be like if they didn't. Think about Dennis Falcon and so many other people around the world and down through the ages whose families have cut them off or said we we don't want anything to do with you if you're gonna follow Jesus. I mean all of us, we need family. We need mentors. We need encouragement. We need community. We're we're built for it. We need it.”

#JesusSaysHardThings
“``We need to offer hospitality especially to our brothers and sisters in Christ, but we also need to extend that out to everybody. I love Galatians six says, do good to everyone especially to the household of faith. Those especially are isolated because of the name of Jesus, especially we need to reach out to them with hospitality, but everyone. We wanna invite everyone into our lives in a way that welcomes them to come and draw near to the fire that has warmed our hearts, whose name is Jesus.”

#FriendshipToFaith
“``Many people in spite of or I suspect because of all of our digital connections to one another are feeling more and more isolated. Young people especially in this country feel a a a distinct lack of intimate community. And so for us, the ministry of hospitality is more important these days than ever. God wants us to welcome one another. We're gonna have a meal after worship today. There's a good opportunity to sit across the table from somebody, maybe get to know them better. But beyond today,”

#DrawnToJesus
“I wanna challenge all of you to think about, pray about, and practice intentional hospitality in your life. What would that look like? Who could you get a cup of coffee with? Who could you invite over for a meal or go to a restaurant together or bring a sack lunch to? This is a great way that we can actually invite others in, as I said, to kind of draw near with us to the fire. I think a great way this could this could work out in in in our church, in any church, is people just being intentional.”

#ConfessBoldly
“``I'm gonna invite someone from my church to coffee and I'm gonna invite that other friend I know who's just moved to this community and I know they're disconnected or they've wandered from the faith. I'm gonna invite that new family down the street to my home and a family from church to come over for dinner. And we're not gonna have a five step plan to convert anybody. We're just gonna do the stuff that Jesus said and let the holy spirit work with that and make those connections and draw people in. I think the world needs that. And I think we we can do that.”

#CourageToBeBaptized
“``Could add this to the list of bible verses you're probably not gonna find stitched on a pillowcase or framed at Hobby Lobby so that you can take it home. Jesus said, do not think that I've come to bring peace to the earth. I'm not come to bring peace but a sword. I've come to set a man against his father and a daughter against her mother. This is one of those sayings of Jesus that if we're paying attention probably makes us sit up and go, what? Wait. What did he say? Hold on a second. How can that be right?”

#DieToSelfLiveInChrist
“If you read the whole bible you know it does teach that Christ brings peace between wayward sinners and a holy God. It does teach that when Christ returns and makes all things new, he will bring a new kind of peace to all creation. But what is the context right here in Matthew chapter 10? If you were here a couple of weeks ago, may remember this chapter begins with Jesus sending his apostles, his 12 out on a a teaching mission, a preaching mission And he's sending them out to the the towns and villages of Judah to announce the good news that he, Jesus,”
