#UnityInDifference
“``So here's the the central truth for today's message. God does not create unity by removing our differences. God creates unity by joining different people together in one Christ. God doesn't make us one by making us all the same. God makes us one by taking our different stories, our different gifts, our different personalities, our different experiences, and perspectives, and questions, our different wounds, our different hopes, and joining us together in one Lord and Savior.”

#YouBelongAlways
“You can feel you don't belong and the truth is you do. The foot can say I don't belong but that doesn't make it true. The ear can say I'm not needed but that doesn't make it true. Because Paul says, God, God, you hear that? God arranged the members in the body. Each one of them as God chose. That's what Paul says. are a part of the body of Christ as God chose it to be. God arranged it. Your presence is not an accident. Your story is not wasted. Your gift is not irrelevant. Your difference does not disqualify you from the body. Your difference, in fact, may be exactly why you are needed in the body. We don't have to be the same to belong to the same body.”

#DifferencesNotDivision
“And we need to understand the difference between sameness, unity, and division. Sameness says that everybody should look like me. Everybody ought to think like me. Everybody ought to speak like me. Worship like me. Vote like me. Experience the way Experience life the way that I experience life. That's sameness. Bible doesn't call for that. Unity says that our differences do not cancel our belonging to one another. Division. Division begins when we allow difference to create distance, suspicion, and contempt for one another. Division begins when different means wrong or less than. When different becomes a reason for rejection, division begins to creep in to our lives, to our communities, to our cities, our county, our state, our nation, the world. But Paul says, we do not have to be the same to belong to the same body.”

#BeYourBeautifulSelf
“Somebody needs to hear that today. You are not a failed version of somebody else. The foot is not a failed hand. The ear is not an unsuccessful eye, and you don't need to become a copy of anybody else in order to belong to Jesus Christ. are a beautiful version of you, and you belong in this body. Every single one of you, saints and sinners alike.”
