#SeedToHarvest
“``I mean, imagine, can you, that someone gives you a seed and it's like, man, this is a very important seed. And so you take this one seed and you you put it up on a on a little stand and you put a cover over it and you just admire it and go, look look at my nice kernel seed. Right? It it's really worthless as we try to protect it and say, look at how nice it is and how important it is. It's a little seed. But if we're willing to take the seed and bury it, let it die, let its shell be washed off by the elements and its life to be birthed that's within it, it produces many seeds. It produces a crop. It produces a harvest.”

#DismantleTheBoats
“I want you to think whether you call it burn the boats or dismantle the boats, what does it look like in your life? Say, you know what? Whatever has been my escape route, whatever I have kind of kept there so that I could go back to the base, go back to Cuba, I'm I'm I'm gonna say, no. I'm putting it all in on Jesus. Matter of fact, I like this story better, as I think about it because something about burning the boat just seems like it's wasting. I like this idea that what he did is he took that material, the stuff that he had been using and could have taken him back to Cuba. Now he's using it to establish a new life.”

#TakeUpYourCrossDaily
“Have you come to this place? It's not just for monks because Jesus said, anyone who would follow me must take up their cross. Have you come to that place of saying, I'm willing to surrender? I may not all understand all that is involved in that, what all that surrendering will look like, but today, I'm willing to say yes, and and this is the one thing I can see. And then begin even daily using that covenant prayer or just using the prayer of Jesus who calls you to take up your cross daily. What is it gonna look like for me to die to self today, to make room for the holy spirit to be present in me? Thirdly, have I come to that place where I'm saying I'm I'm ready to serve?”

#FeedJesusSheep
“And, boy, there there's so many temptations not to do this because we were maybe not appreciated or we were misunderstood. Or we started and people abused it because instead of you doing it for, you know, the year that you committed to, five years later, everyone was just like pretending they didn't know that you were in the nursery. There's a whole lot of reasons, but this isn't about you. This is about Jesus' sheep. So are you willing to serve wherever he's inviting you, wherever he's calling you and saying, Peter, if you love me, tend to my sheep, feed my sheep?”

#DoWhatGodAsks
“Couple things I want you to note here. One is it's not, Peter, I want you to go find yourself, and what brings you the greatest joy? He says, I want you to do something for me, my sheep. He didn't say, Peter, go go find your flock and and make sure you lead your flock. He said, I want you to do something that I'm asking you to do. Feed my sheep. Tend to my lambs.”

#EverydayMinistry
“And so I'm not asking you to say you're committing to to a full time ministry, so to speak, that that's your job. But in a sense, we are all caught up to full time ministry wherever god places us. And here's the key. The key is that we don't think of it as as how is it gonna be bring me the greatest fulfillment. But is it what god is asking me to do? Is is god saying this is these are my sheep. This is where I'm asking you to serve.”

#SpiritualBirthMatters
“And yet Jesus says to someone like Nicodemus, you must be spiritually born. I look at my friends that I grew up with. I look at my family, my extended family, and it is clear to me, those who have been spiritually born and those who maybe just are trying to live a good moral life, but there's no spiritual power there. There's no spiritual reality to it. They got the Nicodemus thing down, but but there's not a spiritual life. Life. It is imperative. None of the rest of these dates matter if you haven't been born.”

#AssuranceOfNewBirth
“So you don't necessarily have to be able to identify the exact moment, the exact service, the exact altar you were at. I know people that are clearly born again who who can't do that. They kinda have a vague time frame, because they were saying, well, I don't know if that was the exact moment or that was the exact moment, but this is when I was wrestling with God. But you should be able to know that clearly there's an assurance that you are spiritually born. You are spiritually alive. You have a sense that that you are in a relationship with God. Not just you know about God, but that you can talk to God, and God can talk to you.”
