57s
“``Do you believe this? Do you act like this? And the the test, the measuring stick of whether or not you believe this is when you hear that somebody needs Jesus or you see that somebody needs Jesus, do you show up and just make your presence known to them? Or do you from a distance acknowledge them? Christians are people who get in the trenches, who show up and show out because they understand this fundamental truth that it's just not you showing up. You are the means that Jesus Christ has determined to show up in the life of others. You are the very presence and embody the presence of the trinity, And when you go into a room, that's what you're bringing. That's the special delivery that you're offering.”
29s
“Does your life matter? Yes. Does a Christian need to show up in the life of others? Yes. Why? Because a Christian believes that Jesus Christ whom they serve, they carry him with them. They embody him, his presence goes with them. So if they walk into a house and into the room, they're bringing Jesus and the father and the holy spirit into that room.”
60s
“Do you know how many people right now need the presence of God in their life? Who feel very all alone? Do you know how many people right now might be in their own bedrooms, in their own houses, feeling alone, desperate, and needy, depressed, anxious, who are crying out for the presence of God to come into their lives, who need to feel Jesus' grace and mercy, who are longing to receive some sort of blessing. And Jesus teaches in this very verse, Matthew ten forty, that his disciples, the one that he sends out, when they go and they show up in these rooms, in these homes, in the lives of these people, that they bring with them the very thing that they're longing for.”
46s
“Instead of storing up for yourselves, give what you've been given and watch how the Lord keeps every reward and blessing in your life for all eternity, not just when you live this life and you expire, but he says all these rewards that you receive from be from receiving my disciples, prophets, and right righteous men, you'll have for all eternity. I'm not gonna take them away from you if you go and give as you have freely received, you freely give, then you get to keep what you've been given.”
