The purpose of prayer is about having a relationship with god prayer is the conversation part um it's just being able to talk with god now it's different because god's god and we're not um but yet he allows us the ability just to come in his presence and and be able to share in whatever way is needed at the moment now there's certain things that in the lord's prayer we'll see that he guides us to say you always need this in the moment um and we're going to see that uh he wants us to be intentional and and i say that because he wants us to seek him in his love to know his love and to know him we talked about it for the first couple months of this year right that [00:05:31] (37 seconds)

I love what it says in John 10. It says that we should know his voice. The sheep of my pasture know my voice. Jesus was talking about, like, if I was to speak, you would know and you would hear. That this isn't something that was cheaply bought or cheaply offered to us. It's something that he has fought for and continues to fight for in our lives. That relationship we could have with him and that we could have through prayer. [00:12:29] (15 seconds)

But busy is being under Satan's yield. If we're too busy to pray, then we're allowing Satan to lead and guide our life, and we're allowing God to lead and guide our life. Not that you don't want God to lead your life. You're just allowing the busyness of life to lead it instead of God. [00:17:37] (18 seconds)
