49s
“``Those who have died to self and live for the glory of god are not offended. Only people who are still have their own will not completely given to god are the ones who get easily offended. And while this group is all true believers, old prejudices have threatened to invade the new church. And those things need to be addressed. Satan is attempting to divide what Christ has united. Who would have ever thought that you would take two sects of people, two different groups of people that had been at odds with one another for all these years and to put them under one roof to worship one savior, to to try to fill the great commission together. That's what god can do.”

“As we close this morning, I want to say this, the church is not about erasing ethnic or cultural differences. It will overcome them through a Christ centered leadership and mutual trust. We allow people to be different people. They acknowledge the problem. They didn't deny it. Too many churches they not wanting to address the problems that are that are going on. We don't like to confront. We don't like to deal with things. So, we just allow things to take place. Can I tell you, anytime you allow a problem, the problem grows?”

“Here's what I want you to do though. Don't forget about Vacation Bible Schools. We'd be part of it. But when things arise, be willing to humble. When problems are perceived, when I say perceived because sometimes you perceive it one way and the reality is something different or maybe you see it right and it's not been yet viewed that way by others. Have a heart that wants to see the church unified through the solution of the problem even if that means allowing somebody else to have the leadership role or they get their way and we don't get ours. Strive for unity. Strive for the power of God on the church. Strive for the power of god in your life.”
72s
“Let's just call it what it is. When there's sin, murmuring, and complaining, when there's any other kind of sin in the church, it needs to be addressed, needs to be confessed. It's imperative that we keep the priorities of the church, the priority of the church, and that's preaching the word of god. We need to protect spiritual priorities. We need to minister to people without a doubt. We need to listen and and when we can minister on a practical level, we can do that. Let's do so biblically. Let's keep a heart for god in everything that we do and everything we say. And just like them, I think we had to incorporate everybody into participating. I love what's going take place this week. Vacation Bible School actually is one of the things of our church. We see the most participation in by the congregation. Can I tell you there's a lot of things that we can be involved in if everybody just jump in? Everybody gets excited.”
