#ServeForChrist
“``The purpose of the church is not to please you, it is to please god. When you come with a me, me, me attitude like, oh, you gotta do this. I like this. I like that. I want to do what glorifies Jesus Christ and then be honest, sometimes that does not line up with what we think. Serving is tough work. Ministry can be grueling. Leading heart But we don't do it in wrath, anger, clamor, or slander or malice. We're to be tender hearted towards one another, forgiving one another as Christ as God and Christ forgave us. Our hope is Christ to stir one another towards good works, not to stir up trouble.”

#ChooseJesusNotPreferences
“Do not choose church because of that. Choose church because of Jesus. Amen. you're coming for a particular song, if you're coming for a particular way of of of preaching or a particular ministry that you like and you're not coming because you love Jesus Christ because he died for you and has changed your life and given you new life and you're just looking to, I just want to I want to be where he is. I want to serve where he wants me to serve and love those who need to be. You you like that that's the reason. Not contention. That is the reason to come.”

#CommitToDiscipleship
“hear me. You have work to do. We're not just looking to somebody else. You're not just going look at that list in a little while next week or whoever whenever and go, they'll do it all. We together do the beautiful work to build up the church. Alright? So, ready? You commit to the process of reaching the lost and making disciples and that takes priority over everything else. You trust the Lord for the results. How do you start? Get in discipleship. Serve. Trust biblical community. Serve. Stop making excuses. Serve. Be available and intentional to make disciples who make disciples. and to the ends of the earth. It's tough work to trust and obey.”

#EveryoneAMissionary
“Every one of us. I know some folks don't like saying everyone's a missionary but I believe everyone of us are gospel purveyors. We are to share. That's right. You may not be called to a four mission field. I get that but you are called to serve and share. That's right. You may not like it. You gotta take that up with the lord. I mean, that's it it ain't it ain't just that guy. It ain't just a deacon. It ain't just the pastor. It is everyone who has been changed and moved by the holy spirit in a beautiful, God changing way, our heart taken out of us and put a new heart in. Now, are full of wisdom. Right? And we are going to share.”

#FutureGloryOverTrials
“So, I would say there's not more comfort from the enemy in god's god's will other than having the presence of the lord and knowing that the enemy can't do nothing to you but you will be attacked. Why does it say over and over? Count it all joy when you endure any trial or or suffering or persecution. Why does Romans eight exist? Right, Kayla? Why does Romans eight exist for us that the suffering in this present day does not compare to the future glory? It doesn't say that that that you get this beautiful glory right now that that just is is it it keeps you from any suffering. That's not the case. Your glory in Jesus Christ is bigger than anything that the enemy throws at you. No matter what.”

#WisdomThroughTrials
“So, you have full of the spirit, you have a good repute, and you have full of the wisdom. I'm not talking about people who are really great at bible trivia. I'm talking about people who who god has seen them through terrible lows and terrible and great highs. Hear me? And in those spots, wisdom, you didn't waver back from the lord. I say, Kayla, it was Job in extreme loss. Had lose, didn't lose anything if he has god. And Solomon in extreme wealth doesn't have anything if he doesn't have god. That's wisdom and sometimes god has to work us over a couple of times in our our life to get it.”

#GrowInCompassion
“Unhealthy churches have first rate folks. Unhealthy churches stir up problems. See, the two ways we would grow would either be healthy or unhealthy. And if you grow spiritually, you will grow in compassion and not negativity. If you don't grow spiritually, you will grow in negativity. Compassion looks like this. You will want to help the new believer grow. You will want to cook a meal. You will want to send them a card. You want to do something. You want because you're excited to help folks along. You'll see opportunities to help for yourself and and and and not a responsibility for someone else to do. And negativity will be you always say behind somebody's back, they'll fail.”

#EquippedToServe
“We're to equip you from each row, whatever phase of life you're in. We may not get a lot of work from Sutton Lane. He about to go to sleep, but it's okay. What you hear me? Each person in here, you are called to serve, to do the work of ministry, to be equipped in that, like like the equipping comes from here and then discipleship and all those things. Listen, those who are saved, believers serve. You're servers. They shouldn't be foreign to us. You shouldn't say, hey, what's that word mean? I don't I don't define it for me. You go do work for the lord Jesus Christ, not for salvation but you do it because you love Jesus and your desire is to get him known to other people.”
