#HopeOfNewCreation
“As you look through today, I mean, we can see the end. See, John, he'll say that there's a new heaven and a new earth coming down right in this new city in Jerusalem, where there's gonna be no more suffering, no more tears, no more death, where God our father walks with us, wipes away our tears. There is a new reality that's just around the corner. And so we all face difficult days like Daniel did, where the enemy will scare us to say that death will be our end. But Jesus Christ broke death to say, no. I've overcome. If you're mine, we overcome. Trust me.”

“And and Daniel, you see, there's something that happens when you know the one created all that is, who is establishing a kingdom that can never fail, and you're part of his kingdom. You know whether or not he saves you from the lions, you will be saved. That's one thing about being a citizen of any country. When you have a passport, the country has a responsibility to protect you. And and when you have a passport in Christ, the greatest authority in heaven and earth has made a covenant to protect you.”

#DeathDefeated
“You know, it's a it's a picture you see of of what happens in the future. We're one with absolute perfect character, one who has twenty twenty vision about the future, one in whom we'll be thrown onto a cross and then into a tomb and sealed on trumped up charges that even the judge would say, I I find nothing wrong with him. But this time, the lion's mouth wouldn't wouldn't be held. This time, Jesus would the king of kings would be eaten by death itself. But in the stomach of the lion of death, he broke free. He broke death, so death does not need to break us.”

#DrawnToTheWindow
“Now if you've been walking with God for a long time, you know that to be true. You know there's times when you do get filled with the anxiety of the circumstances around you. We've all been there. And there's something that draws you to the window. And I I believe it's the presence of Christ that's in you if you're a Christian, drawing you home, allowing you to connect with the one that is in control of all, of a future that is certain, of of of your of your help in the midst of whatever trial you might be in, one who wrestles with you in that dark until you have a dawn of a realization that's gonna be alright, that you have and are indeed blessed. That's what happens at the window.”

#HolySpiritsWork
“And there's something that happens that God has done in scripture when he when he, like, list when he shows us these incredible heroes. He's he's letting us know that that's a picture of who he is making us in Christ. And and when we read scriptures, there's gonna be at certain times various characters that jump out of the Bible at us, and it's like the Holy Spirit saying, that's my work order on you. That's what I'm doing in you. Sometimes it it might be Sarah, maybe Sarah that she held on with a bit of faith in the midst of, you know, this incredible promise, that's who you wanna be, or or David, this incredible sense of worship, and and and you're finding yourself so the Holy Spirit is working in each one of us transformation. So we see a person like Daniel, and we start to get encouraged by his life. It's it's God saying, that's my work order on you. I'm making you one who can go through incredible storms and not lose your faith. I'm making you into one who whose life is blameless. I'm making you into one who has an excellent spirit. That's what I'm doing in your life.”

#ThankfulCourage
“And so we all face difficult days like Daniel did, where the enemy will scare us to say that death will be our end. But Jesus Christ broke death to say, no. I've overcome. If you're mine, we overcome. Trust me. I love Daniel because he trusts even when the world that he lives in has rejected God, at least the God he knows. And God proves to be greater than all the forces of the world. That's the kind of faith I want. I want the kind of faith that Daniel had, to love God so deeply that when the declaration of my certain death is declared, my prayer would rest on thanksgiving for who God is and worship for where God is taking me.”

#WindowOfThanksgiving
“See, he he can see beyond the crisis of the moment, and he's secure. See, something happens at the window when we know that everything's gonna be alright, even if things aren't alright. That somehow as we're praying and thanking, there's a glimpse that we get of the one behind the window, the one behind the veil, the one behind it all, the god of the universe breaks through. And he as he does, he takes all of the complaint that could have been in Daniel's heart and transforms it so that all that is in his heart is thanksgiving.”

#ExcellentSpirit
“And and we see Daniel time and time again doing incredible miracles. He's able to understand Nebuchadnezzar's dream of all the different kingdoms that are coming to the kingdom of Christ. He is and now we're we're we're we're we're connecting with Daniel when he's 80 years old. Daniel would have saw the destruction of Nebuchadnezzar, and then the Persians would take over, and he's now under the ruler of Darius. And in today's scripture, we find Darius looking over all of the administrators of the land, and he's setting up a 120 satraps, basically, regional rulers, and then he's putting three, rulers over those satraps to make sure they're doing their work, and he's looking for the number two guy. Right? Darius and then the number two guy, and he finds an old Hebrew, 80 years old, and he says to Daniel, I want you to be number two. And it says that why why he chose Daniel was because he had an excellent spirit.”
