#BaptismFollowsFaith
“If you're saved, if you're born again, you will eventually be baptized because you will want to. It's it's it's in the scriptures. Jesus commanded it. He wants us to follow that to show the example that's true in Romans six of that we were buried with Christ. We're gonna see it in Galatians two twenty today. We were buried with Christ and then we are we have been risen to new life. So that's what he wanted, but that's not the completing act of salvation. There is no completing act. The act of salvation is believe and receive. Call on the name of the Lord.”

#IdentityInChrist
“Our identity is only and completely in Jesus. I've been crucified with Christ. I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And this life that I now live, I live by faith in Christ. Christ, the one who loved me and gave himself for me. Ain't it wonderful that he ends that way? Christ, the one who loves us. That's who we live for. Paul subbed it up this way, for me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Why? Because you are in the presence of Christ.”

#FaithNotRituals
“And I remember many mornings reading this word, praying, and and really being encouraged and visited by the Lord, but then it was time for 08:00 class, I had to get going, and I didn't write it down. And all day long, thought, David, you missed another quiet time. You see, we get trapped into certain expectations. The Judaizers had come and said, you you guys, you Gentile Christians, you haven't gone far enough. You you men need to be circumcised to identify with with all that God wants. That's your step of obedience. There are a lot of there's a denomination formed, don't you need to be baptized to be saved? No, you don't.”

#GreatExchange
“Paul realized that on the cross a great exchange occurred. I love I love the Bible teachers that talk about the great exchange. Death for life, a dead spirit for the spirit of God. There was an exchange that happened. He gave Jesus his old try to be right before God by the law life, and it was crucified on the cross, and Jesus gave Paul his life to life. Christ came to live in him, So Paul's life isn't isn't his anymore. It belongs to Jesus. Paul doesn't own his own life. He died of that. He's simply managing the new life Jesus has given to him, and that's the same thing true with us.”

#FreedomThroughGrace
“Because of Christ and Christ works alone, we are free. Free from the penalty and power of sin, free from performance based acceptance, free from being people pleasers, free from being free to to be, to love loved by God unconditionally, and to love him because he first loved us. I love walking in freedom. I don't wanna go put myself under bondage of to dos again. I know you're the same way. Let's pray. Lord, thank you for your wonderful gift of salvation. You and you alone purchased our redemption. We can't add to it.”

#LiveVertically
“Now, we say, well David, that's not our problem today and then how does that relate to me? Well, because we all live under the fear of man. We all live taking a lot of our cues from one another. You could say it a lot of different ways. We live horizontally, and the scripture continues to say to us, that's the wrong orientation. You have to live vertically. You have to live before the Lord. You want to start each night when you go to bed. You want to have this as your thought each morning when you wake up. I am wanting to live for Jesus Christ and him alone.”

#GraceThroughFaith
“Paul's central burden, you have been saved by grace through faith, not by works, effort, or religious performance. You've been you and I have been saved by grace. As a as believer as a believer who's justified by faith alone in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, we now walk in a freedom and favor with God that does not depend upon our performance, but on the acceptance of Christ's righteousness placed on our account and the transforming power of the spirit of God.”

#GraceAloneInChrist
“And so the foundational truth of Galatians, Galatians teaches that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Why do we sing our worship songs directed toward him? Because he's the king of kings and lord of lords. He's the redeemer. He's our savior. He's our Lord. And this gospel produces a trans and that this gospel produces a transformed spirit led life of freedom, love, and unity. What does God want from us? He wants us yielded and trusting.”
