#ChristCenteredHome
“Notice this. When a husband sacrifices, people see who? Jesus. When a wife responds with respect and grace, people see who? Jesus. When either says I was wrong, forgive me. People see who? Jesus. When two people stop trying to win and start trying to love, people see who? Jesus. Make Christ first, last, and best in what? Everything. And he will transform your home.”

#PeaceInChrist
“Because I have sat across from far too many people who in the journey of this have felt, well, I just do the right thing, then my husband or my wife will come around and will all of a sudden be okay and we'll be in to move forward. They may never change, but God can give you peace in the journey. You follow what I'm saying? When we do something, not for some external change over here, but because Jesus has called me to, I can have peace to walk forward regardless of what the other person may or may not do. I do it not for them, I do it for who? For Jesus. And when I do it for Jesus, I can have the peace of God in my heart, and I can walk forward in him.”

#MarriageReveals
“You see, it comes down to this. Marriage is where self gets exposed. It's in the marriage relationship that we really find out who we are and how selfish I can be. I want my way. I want to be understood. I want to win. I want my preferences. What's it say there? Respected. I want the other person to change when. Because if they change, then everything would be great. Clearly, if I was the problem, I'd fix it. The problem must be somewhere else.”
