#GraceAndJustice
“``Every one of us in this room, at some point in our life, before we repented of our sin and believe the gospel, we're under the judgment of God. And if we were to die apart from Christ, we would be judged and we would find ourselves in hell. Oh, but God wouldn't do that. He's a gracious, loving God. God has to do it or God is a liar because he is holy. And sin, he says in the Old Testament, will not go unpunished. And so what do you somebody says, what do I have to do to go to hell? Nothing. If you've not repented of your sin and trusted in Christ, that's your destiny. The only way we escape is through the substitutionary atonement of Christ by turning from sin in self and religion and putting our faith in Christ alone for eternal life. Because he's done all there needs to be done needs to be done for us to be saved.”

#AtonementOnTheCross
“And that's the only reason we can go to heaven. That's the only reason we can not be judged. You see, then our judge our sin has been judged where? God doesn't excuse our sin. If we are born again, he judged our sin. Where did he judge it? On the cross. Jesus bore that judgment on the cross. It wasn't that God just overlooked us and said, oh, well, you're excused. No. He judged his son for our sin.”

#PreachWholeCounsel
“We're afraid to talk about judgment. We're afraid it will cause people to feel uncomfortable, or maybe people will leave. They don't wanna hear about the judgment of God. They wanna just hear about the love of God. But we do a disservice to anyone when we teach, and we do not teach and preach the whole counsel of God, which includes God's judgment. I mean, how can you how can you appreciate God's love and God's grace if we don't understand God's judgment?”

“And we need to understand that these things do not characterize the people of God. They characterize those outside of the church who have crept into the church to cause division, those who are false teachers and apostates. We do not want anything to do with them. We don't want anything to do with their character. We wanna follow after Christ. We wanna reflect his character. We wanna seek the truth. And the way to do that, the way for us to avoid is the same thing I've mentioned in each one of these messages. Know the truth, guard the truth, live the truth, proclaim the truth, defend the truth in love, contend for the truth in love, and persevere in the truth. That's how we avoid these things.”
