When facing financial uncertainty or feeling like resources are running thin, it is easy to become anxious or worried. Yet, the promise found in Philippians 4:19 assures believers that God is the ultimate provider, meeting every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Trusting in this truth means releasing the burden of provision and recognizing that what we have is not just our own, but entrusted to us by God. Faithfulness in giving, tithing, and stewarding resources is an act of trust, acknowledging that God cares for every detail and will not let His children go without. [05:19]
Philippians 4:19 (ESV)
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Reflection: What is one specific need you are anxious about today, and how can you intentionally trust God to provide for it, perhaps by taking a step of faith in generosity or prayer?
Inviting others to church is a simple yet powerful way to share God’s love and expand His kingdom. Many people are open to attending church if only someone would ask, and a personal invitation can be the catalyst for life change. Taking the initiative to invite friends, neighbors, or even acquaintances not only blesses them but also strengthens the community and fulfills the call to make heaven crowded. Offering to pick someone up or accompany them can make all the difference, turning a simple invitation into a meaningful act of hospitality and care. [01:54]
Luke 14:23 (ESV)
"And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.’"
Reflection: Who are three people in your life you can invite to church this week, and what practical step can you take to make it easier for them to say yes?
Serving in the church, especially in ministries like children’s church, is a unique opportunity to impact lives and experience the joy of seeing others grow in faith. Even when it feels inconvenient or intimidating, stepping out to serve brings fulfillment and builds up the body of Christ. Every act of service, no matter how small, is valuable and can lead to moments of deep joy—like hearing a child sing about Jesus or witnessing someone’s first steps in faith. Serving is not just about filling a need; it’s about being part of something bigger than oneself and allowing God to use your gifts for His glory. [02:56]
1 Peter 4:10 (ESV)
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace."
Reflection: What is one area in the church where you feel God nudging you to serve, and what is holding you back from taking the first step?
Being part of a small group or church community is essential for spiritual growth and support. Genuine connection with others provides encouragement, accountability, and a sense of belonging that cannot be found in isolation. Whether through Bible studies, prayer groups, or fellowship gatherings, these relationships help believers walk out their faith, learn from one another, and face life’s challenges together. A connected church is a strong church, and investing in community is a vital part of following Jesus. [14:15]
Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."
Reflection: How can you intentionally deepen your connection with others in your church community this week, perhaps by joining a group or reaching out to someone new?
Prayer is a powerful way to seek God’s guidance and blessing for our nation, its leaders, and our local communities. In times of uncertainty or change, lifting up those in authority and the needs of the country is both a privilege and a responsibility for believers. Gathering with others to pray multiplies the impact and unites hearts in seeking God’s will for the land. As we intercede for our leaders, schools, and neighborhoods, we participate in shaping the culture and future of our community through faith and action. [12:41]
1 Timothy 2:1-2 (ESV)
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way."
Reflection: What is one specific issue or leader in your city or nation you can commit to praying for this week, and how might you invite others to join you in prayer?
Today’s gathering was all about connection, invitation, and the power of serving together as a church family. As we look ahead to “Invite Your Friend Sunday,” there’s a challenge for each of us: don’t just come alone—bring someone with you. The simple act of inviting a friend can have a profound impact, and statistics show that most people are open to coming if only someone would ask. Let’s be intentional, not just in our invitations, but in how we follow through—offering to pick someone up, making it easy for them to say yes, and showing them the love of Christ through our actions.
Serving is another vital part of our life together. There’s a special emphasis on children’s ministry, a place where the seeds of faith are planted in young hearts. Serving with kids isn’t just about filling a need; it’s about shaping the next generation and experiencing the joy of seeing children grow in their love for Jesus. If you’re unsure where to start, this is a wonderful place to step in and make a difference.
We’re also called to be engaged citizens, aware of what’s happening in our city and schools. The upcoming forum on October 4th is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and be part of shaping the culture around us. Local elections and community involvement matter deeply, especially for families with children who will be most affected by these decisions.
Generosity is rooted in trust—trusting God to supply all our needs, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us. When we give, whether it’s tithes, offerings, or our time, we’re not just meeting obligations; we’re participating in God’s provision and stewardship. Faithfulness in giving is an act of worship and trust, knowing that God cares for every detail of our lives.
Finally, the heartbeat of our church is found in small groups. These groups are where real relationships are built, discipleship happens, and lives are transformed. Whether you’re a new believer, a young adult, a woman seeking connection, a man looking for brotherhood, or someone with a heart to pray for our nation, there’s a place for you. Our goal is to be a church made of small groups, not just a church with small groups—because true community is where we grow, serve, and become more like Christ together.

And any parent in the room knows that that is an amazing feeling, right? So if you ever want to get involved, that's a great way to get involved. If you're not serving already somewhere, I encourage you, start serving there. [00:03:17]

It's your kids who are going to be reaping and seeing the changes that are happening over the next decade. So we want you here so that you know what's going on and you get encouraged and excited about voting. Because how many of you guys know it's an election year this year? Do you guys know that? I mean, there's not a president running for election, but it's an election year. And they say the local elections have the most impact on what happens in your day -to -day life. So be here, make plans to be here October 4th, doors open at 830 in the morning. And so we want to encourage you guys, everyone to be here, to bring a friend, invite people, because this is going to be something that changes and affects the culture of this area. Right? We want to change culture. This is one way we do it. [00:04:33]
If you've ever thought, there's just not enough money at the, like there's too much month at the end of the money, right? If you've ever thought about that, I've been thinking about that sometimes. I'm like, oh, there's just too much month at the end of the money. The truth is, Philippians 4 .19 is a very simple verse. It says, my God, who supplies all of my needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Right? We don't have to be worried. If we trust him, if we do what he does, I tell the teenagers all the time, Jesus said, follow me. So that means do what he does. If we do what he does and do what he says to do, he's going to be worried. going to take care of us. That means it's no longer my bills, it's his bills. And I'm just the one stewarding the money and writing the check, right? [00:05:28]
If we do what he does and do what he says to do, he's going to be worried. going to take care of us. That means it's no longer my bills, it's his bills. And I'm just the one stewarding the money and writing the check, right? [00:06:03]
So I encourage you, listen to what he says. He says, tithe, give that tithe. If he says, if he's calling you to give an offering, give an offering. Whatever it is he's calling you to do, I encourage you and I implore you, be faithful with what he's called you to do. [00:06:14]
Each one of these leaders, they're leading a group of people. They're leading, these are leaders who are leading people in our group. So if you're like, hey, I want to get involved. I want to get connected. I want to get plugged in. These are the people that you can get connected with because they have opportunities and options for getting connected, right? [00:07:24]
If you're a young adult between like 18 and 30, mid 30s, you got to be here. They are pouring in. They're going through, I think, the book of James right now. And it's powerful. The discussions they're having are really life -changing. So this is something I encourage you guys be a part of if you're a young adult here in the room. [00:08:39]
If you're a lady in the room, this is something that might change your life. It might impact you. We're going to hear from a bunch of different guest speakers. So it's open for all women on Tuesdays at 9 30 a .m. [00:09:43]

This is for any men over the age of 18 who want to explore and go deeper in their walk with Jesus, who want to actually have heart -to -heart connections with men. Amen. They also have a variety of breakout groups that meet in the mornings and evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. So if you're interested in being part of a breakout group, if you're interested in being a part of collection with other men, where men sharpen men, iron sharpening iron, this is a group you want to be part of. It definitely helped me grow in my own belief and my own understanding of the word. [00:12:05]
I encourage you guys. It's something to be part of. And that's Monday nights at 6 .30 p .m. [00:12:40]

And so these women are gathering together twice a month to pray for our nation. That's the first and third Mondays at 9 a .m. Here at the church. [00:13:28]
We're just excited about connecting with you. I believe a church that is connected is a church that connects with each other, because we're only as good as we are connected with each other. [00:14:48]
I believe a church that is connected is a church that connects with each other, because we're only as good as we are connected with each other. Our goal as New Creation Church is to be a church made of small groups, not just a church with small groups. [00:14:51]
Our goal as New Creation Church is to be a church made of small groups, not just a church with small groups. So if you want to give it up for each and every one of these leaders up here that have taken on the extra place. Thank you guys so much for leading. [00:15:00]
