"we are experiencing profound political and social unertainty this week decisions are being made in Washington DC which are shaping the future of our nation it seems as though the Democrats are succumbing to the other side the political landscape is turbulent from looming government funding deadlines to debates over policies that could impact our communities and climate in times like these temptation to lose confidence can be overwhelming as believers we may feel discouraged by divisive rhetoric or frustrated by decisions that seem to prioritize partisansship over progress" [00:03:25]

"this echoes the call in Hebrews to endure and remain steadfast knowing that our confidence in God's promises carries eternal rewards this week's political debates remind us of the tension between earthly governance and divine sovereignty while leaders wrestle with budgets and policies we are called to wrestle with our faith to hold firm to our confidence in God's plan even when the world seems unstable just as the earthly believers face ridicule and hardship for their faith we too are called to endure with unwavering trust in God's promises" [00:05:25]

"no matter what storms rage around us whether political or personal we serve a God who is unchanging unfa of course God is unchanging faithful and victorious as we revisit our thematic scripture we should remember that our competence is not rooted in human systems but in the eternal promises of our creator this is the year of confidence for a reason all that can embody confidence seems to be met with instances that do not warrant confidence" [00:06:43]

"our faith is called to shine brightest precisely in these moments of uncertainty and fear remember ladies and gentlemen that our confidence is not based on the stability of our circumstances but Lisa is on the unchanging nature of our God when the word when the world says panic our faith whispers peace when society shouts fear our God commands to be still yes and Sherekica Philippians 4:19 reminds us 'And my God shall supply all of your needs.'" [00:07:44]

"fernando our confidence is not in our ability to solve every problem but in God's faithfulness to see us through them yeah it's not about having all the answers Rick but about trusting the one who does this year of confidence is not about the absence of challenges but about the presence of God Deborah greater than any challenge we face great people let me take you back to to the time when the writer of Hebrews pinned this addressing a community hanging on by a thread" [00:09:26]

"these were believers who had stepped out on faith and found themselves in persecution says Katherine they they had been ridiculed rejected and even imprisoned for their commitment to Christ their confidence was under attack says Dolly and and some were on the verge of giving up but the writer of Hebrews steps into their situation with a word that still speaks to us today so do not throw away your confidence it will be richly rewarded oh child of God can you hear the urgency in those words" [00:11:14]

"the writer knew that confidence doesn't come from an easy life it comes from knowing who holds your life he pointed them back to Jesus the one who is greater than Moses angels or any earthly priest or king he reminded them that Jesus is the firm and secure anchor of their souls and what I love about this text is that it doesn't ignore the struggle the writer acknowledges that endurance is needed he doesn't sugarcoat or pretend like faith makes life easy" [00:13:01]

"when life gets hard and it will don't throw away your confidence when bills pile up and health fails and jobs are uncertain don't you throw away your confidence when it feels like everything around you is falling apart remember that your God is still holding it all together this is just not about surviving it's about thriving in faith because we serve a faithful God so lift up your head don't adopt a defeated posture spread your shoulders and walk in the confidence that comes from knowing that he who promised is faithful" [00:15:25]

"you must keep your confidence uh while others are losing theirs don't follow that trend uh what God is getting ready to do in your life you cannot allow what you currently see to hinder the magnitude of the reward that God is getting ready to release so this season for you and in this climate we must declare in advance that is worth it child of God I came to tell you that on this third Sunday morning that you serve a big God i said your God is big he's strong and he's mighty a God for whom nothing shall be called impossible" [00:17:04]

"your confidence is your lifeline therefore cling to it as if it were that it's your passport to God's extraordinary favor your link to his promises and your key to his blessings so I don't care what your situation looks like right now i don't care what the doctors say or what your bank account shows god is not finished with you yet isn't it a joy that God can take you where you are and still get the best out of you isn't it amazing that God can turn your mess into a message your test into a testimony and your trials into triumph" [00:18:08]

"you need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God you will receive what he has promised can somebody give God some praise right now because what he's about to do in your life is so big so amazing so mindblowing that it's going to make your current situation look like child's prayer hold on faith firmly your confidence in Christ is worth more than gold it shall gateway to glory so stand firm hold fast and watch God do exceeding abundantly above all you can ever ask or think" [00:19:24]

"dear God we thank you so much for depositing that word to us on this morning yes Lord we thank you for your kindness lord we thank you for your love we thank you for your grace and your mercy we thank you for your presence here so God we're asking you God to allow us not to lose our confidence because it is the proper time to do so oh yes based on what we are facing politically and personally we have every right to lose our confidence but because we are confident in you yes you are the only one that was that is allowing us to stand firm on our faith" [00:20:48]
