"But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. That's 23. Keep going, y 'all. For if you listen to the word and don't obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. Keep going, Jules. You see yourself. You see yourself walk away. And forget what you look like." [00:00:41] (26 seconds)

"And when you pledge your allegiance to something, you give your time to it. You understand what I'm saying? Sometimes you give money to it. There are people who pledge fraternities and sororities and other organizations because they see alignment and see a goal. And I want to be a part of something. And I will go online. I'll let people march." [00:02:40] (20 seconds)

"You can expect satanic opposition against your pledge of allegiance to the word. And I'm going to show you in a minute from a parable that Jesus taught. But I want to go back to James chapter 1 verse 22 because it's sort of our foundation verse because, again, James is writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, don't just listen to God's word." [00:03:41] (20 seconds)

"It is self-deceiving to hear God's Word because when you're in a Word environment, it gives you a sense of protection. Yeah, I go to a church where they teach the Word. I go to a church where they teach the Word, but your life is being pulverized by the devil, and it is because you have nothing to fight with." [00:05:27] (18 seconds)

"The footpath is a place where people walk. The field is a place where things grow. He is sowing seed, but some of the seed is landing somewhere where it cannot grow. Oh, it is so good. And so what happened to that seed that didn't land in the soil is that the birds came and ate it. Well, it's an easy target." [00:07:09] (29 seconds)

"The word was given to you to fight with, not just to enjoy. But when you don't have deep roots, it'll wither and die. Verse seven, here's the third group coming up Jesus talks about. He says, there's some other seed that fell amongst thorns that grew up and choked out the tender roots and the tender plants so that, so they produce no grain." [00:10:46] (19 seconds)

"Everybody's getting the same seed, but it ain't hitting the same soil. It's hitting some fertile soil. It's hitting some rocky soil. It's hitting some thorny soil. And some of y 'all, it's hitting your footpath. Are we together? So verse 15 says this. The seed that fell on the footpath represents those, are you in this group? Those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away." [00:13:33] (34 seconds)

"the devil only you know what it says the bible says the devil come to steal to kill and destroy the thief came to kill to steal and destroy how many of you heard that before thief came to steal when we think of that we thinking he gonna kill somebody he gonna steal something valuable he's gonna destroy something that's precious and valuable well if he's come to kill to steal and destroy and the bible says here in mark 4 15 he comes to steal the word snatch the word that means the word must be valuable he knows that that word has answers he knows that this word has insight he knows that this word can transform our lives he knows that this word can tell you who you are and what you're supposed to receive in your life and what you don't have to tolerate in your life he knows this word is so powerful that somebody can stand up here and teach it and not even know you or your situation and be talking right to you no wonder he wants to steal it somebody say don't let him snatch it you gotta treat the word precious if a woman is out in public with her purse and she finds herself in a feveristic environment it's a feveristic word it's in the word today it's a thefty environment I don't know but if she falls amongst thieves they call it clutching your purse she will pull the purse she ain't gonna just leave it on the floor for somebody to just snatch it it's too valuable and sometimes the value in what she's protecting is not the name on the bag it's what's in the bag who understands what I'm talking about what I got in this bag is irreplaceable you can have the bag but what's in it is what I treasure and sometimes when somebody is trying to take it from them if you ever seen old ladies with their purse they will use the purse to fight the person off who's trying to take it why? because this is my purse and this is my information and this belongs to me and I will fight you with what you're trying to take it from me you got to do the word just like that when the devil comes to try to take that word from you you got to know how to hit him back with the same word" [00:15:32] (128 seconds)

"That means the persecution made you shut down. This is a distraction from the word because watch out. The message is crowded out by three things, the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things. Satan said, look, if I can't snatch it from you, if I can't attack it in your life, I'm going to distract you from it. I'm going to crowd it out. I'll just crowd the word out. How many of you have ever had a priority in your life that you knew should have been a priority, but things just crowded it out? Other things just got in the way. I know I'm supposed to do this, but it just got crowded out by other things. That's what the devil is trying to do with the word. It's one of the most subtle ways of breaking our allegiance to the word because remember, anything you have an allegiance to, you must give. Time and attention to. That's good." [00:25:59] (47 seconds)
