"And you are indeed a gifted person. So there's one passage of scripture from Psalms 1 that sort of forms the basis. And we've got it on the screen for you now as well. And it forms the basis somewhat of this series. And it says, speaking about a big tree, Psalms 1, and it says, He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God's design, deeply rooted in the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of his life, never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, and ever prosperous." [01:09:23] (40 seconds)

"God has intentionally equipped each believer with a spiritual gift to fulfill his purpose. And that is the growth of his church, the expression of the kingdom of God here on this earth. You know, there's all many, many and varied gifts that God has given to the church. And they are indeed to be a blessing. And 1 Corinthians 12, it says, But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all." [01:13:44] (39 seconds)

"So therefore, we need to be on a discovery of, well, what has God gifted me with so that I can be an effective member to bring increase into the life of the church and the church can function effectively. So each believer plays a unique and indispensable role, therefore a valued role. And we're reminded that each gift, there is no gift that is insignificant." [01:14:34] (33 seconds)

"So I am a gifted person. Remember that heading, I am a gifted person. And if you've not really explored this too much before, today, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I suspect that as we go through these gifts, there could be even something that lands on your heart and your spirit that might even trigger or ignite something. You could say, you know what? That probably describes me." [01:15:50] (25 seconds)

"Evangelists is mentioned. These people are focused upon and are sold out in preaching the word of God. These are the people through the very much in the character and mold they were in through the earlier days of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These are the people that stood on street corners and preached from sunrise to sunset. The word of God gave out the tracks, salvation, done a little, probably the word of God and evangelist operating." [01:20:01] (30 seconds)

"These spiritual gifts, as I said, demonstrate the power and the presence of God and they are the signs and wonders. They are the performed gifts. They have evidence. You'll see it and you'll hear it. Okay. So has any of those that I've mentioned, has there been someone that has said something to you in your life? Has there been something prophetically said over your life?" [01:31:01] (28 seconds)

"Well, then perhaps the Spirit of the Lord is speaking to you and there is a gift of wisdom or a gift of healing or a gift of miracles, of prophecy, of faith or knowledge that's upon your life. You know, that gift is not given to you to lay dormant, church, but as a gift is given to you for you to stir up and to practice and be evident. Why? And for what purpose? For the edification, for the building up of the church to the glory of God." [01:31:54] (32 seconds)

"Romans 12, eight, six through to eight. Verse six, we're starting there. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them. If prophecy, let's prophesy in the proportion of our faith, or ministry, let us use it in our ministering, he who teaches in teaching, he who exhorts in exaltation, he who gives with liberty, he who leads with diligence, he who shows mercy with cheerfulness." [01:33:10] (31 seconds)

"for his kingdom and for glorified to glorify his name christ our lord so despite their variety these gifts come together in the body to work harmoniously under the direction of the holy spirit to accomplish god's will so if one of us is laying a little bit dormant and not operating there's a kind of a bit of a gap in the life of the church isn't there so we're all called to identify and to function and to operate in the gifts that god has given us" [01:37:07] (43 seconds)

"how might we do that how might we discover our gift i've touched on a few different things i've said in conversation but there could be certain things even as i read and you go wow that that that's kind of describes me and who i am well i'm telling you today let it rest on you and prayerfully consider god he's going to bless you and he's going to bless you and he's going to are you speaking to me god are you revealing something to me and we can do that in our prayer life" [01:37:41] (24 seconds)

"you're a gifted person and in one peter encourages us each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of god's grace so the scriptures even call us to to a faithful use and diligent use of the gifts that we've received uh timothy's reminded in in second timothy's for this reason i remind you timothy to fan the flame of the gift of god which is in you through the laying on of hands" [01:43:54] (35 seconds)
