#PerfectlyLoved
“And he sets you apart and says, this one's mine. And he doesn't say this one's perfect. He says, this one's perfectly loved, and I'm perfecting them in my love by my grace as I envelop them into my very heart, Not only for themselves, but for those around them. This is the gospel. It's not just a side hobby for Sundays, guys. It's the priority and privilege of eternity.”

#RestInGrace
“Listen, guys. You can have repentance without power, and you can have even religion without rebirth and relationship. You can be running on that John's baptism of repentance kinda lifestyle, and you can still never really receive the spirit's rest and restoration in the grace of Christ. You can be guilty. You can feel bad. You can try hard. You can be like, I want this, and I'm try but if you have not received grace alone by faith alone in Christ alone, you will not receive that rest that comes in being known and knowing the lover of your soul that comes in Christ alone, and that is the power and beauty of the holy spirit. Guys, this is the gospel,”

#FaithOverFear
“Guys, fear is what it feels like to fight in your own strength. It's just gonna breed insecurity because you know deep down, you don't have what it takes. But faith is a it recognizes that he does, and he's with you, and he's for you. And if god is for you, who can be against you? Like, that that doing it in your own strength is a recipe for insecurity. And it might feel like pride at first, but Proverbs is right, guys. Pride goes before the fall. But when you realize that God is with you, and he's for you, and he already holds the victory, the question quickly then becomes, again, whom shall I fear? If God is for us, who can be against us? And that's what gives you the courage to act even when you're afraid.”

#StrengthInChrist
“Guys, if you try to fight this battle in your own strength as if you're somebody, you're gonna get your tail handed to you. That's real. But I'd also don't want you to let that intimidate you from entering into this. Because look at this. When you trust in Jesus, when you're resting in his risen authority and not your ability to figure it out and make it happen, even a sweat rag attached to that kind of fate can make the enemy run. That's the point. Not because you're great, but because Jesus is. And that's the power that raised him and now lives in you.”

#NoChristianWithoutSpirit
“And so it all happens by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, which is actually the exact wording that Paul would later write to the Ephesians in Ephesians two. Right? And so, it also, is what Paul would write about and talk about in Romans eight where he says that if you belong to Christ, the spirit of Christ is in you. So hear this. I just wanna highlight this. There is no such thing as a Christian without the Holy Spirit.”

#GospelChangesCulture
“Again, it doesn't say Paul prevailed. It says God's word prevailed. The gospel prevailed through ordinary people who counted the cost and considered Jesus worth it all. And it doesn't stop there, guys. We're not gonna go through every verse of the rest of it, but I I want you to see that, in fact, the gospel get such a grip on the hearts of the people in Ephesus that it touches the whole economy. It's like many people stop buying idols, and so many of them stop buying idols that it puts the idol makers out of business. And so these people who were profiting off of this demon worship and the occult, they start a massive riot that threatens the lives of every follower of Christ in the city.”

#CostlyFaith
“And they come and they burn every bridge back to that old life literally. And it was costly. Like, a piece of silver was about a day's wage. So think about that. Do the math. A hundred and thirty plus years of working of a working man's income would have just gone up in smoke in that afternoon. That's what we're seeing here on display. Like, they could've sold those books for a lot of money, and Ephesus was the market for it, but their agenda had now shifted from their own prosperity to the glory of God and his great commission.”

#JesusNotMyBrand
“But listen, guys, when you try to attach Christ's name to your own personal kingdoms for your own glory, that's what it is to essentially take the Lord's name in vain. Right? And listen. That that phrase, that's not just about cussing, guys. Hell knows the difference. It's showing up and being like, I got this figured out. I'm awesome. I'm gonna show them how holy I am. You're playing the enemy's game. That's that pride game. That's that self sufficiency game. And the enemy's like, bring that on.”
