#CarryingValue
“``Can I tell somebody why you've been under attack so much? It isn't because you are ordinary. It's because you're carrying something valuable. Hear me? Nobody breaks into an empty house. Nobody puts security around the empty vault. Nobody tries to steal what has no value. The very fact that you've been under attack ought to tell you that you're carrying something, the enemy can't afford to let you deliver. So, you gotta stop asking why me and start asking god, what have you placed in me that's making hell so nervous?”

#FromAttackToTestimony
“Their whole purpose in arresting Peter and John was to stop Jesus from receiving glory. That is why they arrested them. That is why they interrogated them. That is why they threatened them. They thought that if they can silence the preacher, they could stop the praise. But by the time we get to verse 21, the very thing they were trying to stop had spread even further. The attack had became the advertisement. The trial becomes the testimony. The prison becomes the pulpit because everything the enemy intended to silence, god used to amplify.”

#DontLetLabelsDefineYou
“Ladies and gentlemen, hear me. They projected ignorance onto men who had just demonstrated extraordinary wisdom. Why? Because if they admitted that Peter and John were gifted, they would also have to acknowledge that god was with them and sometimes people will reduce you so they don't have to repent. They'll call you lucky instead of anointed. Call you emotional instead of spiritual, ambitious instead of assigned, unqualified instead of called because it is easier to attack the messenger than it is to acknowledge the god who sent them but you can't allow what they call you to make you question what god called you. Here it is. They tried to diminish their credibility”

#EvidenceSpeaks
“In public, they questioned them but in private, they confessed that the miracle was undeniable. Can I tell you something that I hope will bless you? There are rooms that you have entered where god is making people admit that his hand is on your life. There are people who may never compliment you publicly but privately, they have to acknowledge that god has done something through you. They may not celebrate it or congratulate you but they cannot deny. Ladies and gentlemen, there comes a time, a season in your life where god does something undeni so undeniable that even your enemies have to acknowledge his hand is on you. That's why you can't spend your whole life trying to convince other people. You gotta keep walking with god until the evidence speak for itself. Amen.”

#BeyondAppearances
“The package did not seem to match the power. The appearance didn't match the anointing. The background didn't match the boldness but the Bible says they marveled. They were astonished. They were amazed. They cannot explain what they were witnessing. Can I tell you why? Because when god puts his hand on your life, he will make people question the conclusions they formed about you. Okay? They thought they had them figured out. They thought they knew your limitations. They thought they knew how far you could go. They thought they knew what you could not do but then god put his hand on you and when god puts his hand on your life, he will put his hands on your life. He will put something in you that your appearance cannot explain.”

#StandTillVictory
“You gotta stand until he makes your enemies your footstool. Stand until the evidence speaks for itself. Stand until victory comes because there are some victories that speak louder than words. There are some things god will do in your life that will make your critics run out of words. They may have plenty to say about your past. You can talk about it all you want but they'll have nothing to say about what god has done. Can you turn to a neighbor and say, just keep standing. Just keep standing.”

#EnemyTargetsYourAnointing
“They were thrown in jail not for committing a crime but because the religious leaders were grieved by their preaching and here's what we find a powerful lesson. The enemy doesn't attack you because of who you are but because of what you carry. keep thinking what you're going through is because the devil is obsessed with you. No, the enemy isn't after you. He's after what's inside of you. He's after the anointing you carry, after the purpose, the assignment. He's after the influence that you carry because if he can get you to drop what god placed in you, he never has to worry about what god has planned to do through you.”

#JesusTransformedReligion
“What we find in this passage is that Jesus didn't just impact the world, he disrupted religion itself. It is because Jesus Christ became the ultimate sacrifice for sin that no further sacrifices were needed after him. This meant that much of the traditional temple system was now obsolete. The role of the priest was diminished because their primary function to offer sacrifices was no longer necessary. After Christ sacrifice, we no longer needed someone in between to speak to god on our behalf. We now have direct access to god and as Jesus shifted the spiritual landscape, he also transformed religious leadership. In the New Testament, the language of the kingdom change. Prophets were replaced by apostles and pastors. Priests gave way to preachers and evangelists whose mission was not to remain in one place but to go into all the world and spread the gospel.”
