#FaithInAction
“This is one of the most repeated phrases in the bible because fear is real. We have fear of loss, fear of death, fear of uncertainty, fear of the future, and Easter speaks directly into that fear. Death does not have the final word. The angel gives two commands, come and see, go and tell. This is the movement of Easter. Come and see the empty tomb, then go and share the good news. Faith is never meant to just stop at belief. It always moves to action.”

#NothingCanStopGod
“There were guards at the tomb. Why? Because there were rumors circulating that the disciples had stolen the body, and then they could declare that Jesus had been resurrected. So Matthew includes guards to say, no. The disciples did not take the body. These trained soldiers, these were Roman soldiers, and as mighty soldiers as they are, they trembled with fear. They collapsed like dead men. And what does that show? That nothing can stop what God is doing.”
