#SpiritEnabledChange
“``You see, I'm gonna make this point a couple times. We are not saved by changing our behavior. We don't put off things and put on things in order to be saved. We don't put off things and put on things in order to earn our salvation. We don't put off things and put on things to repay God for what he did on the cross. It's a free gift of salvation. So the Christian life is not about behavior modification, but it's spirit enabled life transformation that we cannot do on our own. As Jesus Christ comes into our life, he transforms us from the inside out so that our behavior changes.”

#HeavenCitizenshipLife
“If Grace Cove is a community of people whose citizenship is in heaven, what should Grace Cove look like here on earth? If your citizenship is in heaven, it should affect how you live on earth. It should affect what you desire, what you watch, what you say, how you treat your spouse, how you treat your children, how you treat the person sitting next to you right here, how you respond to someone when they hurt you, and whether you will forgive or not. So set your hearts on things above. Set your mind on things above. Take off your old self. Put on the new self. Fix your eyes on Jesus.”

#FleeSexualImmorality
“The sexual morality, we need to flee from it. That's what he says in Paul says in one Corinthians chapter six, flee from sexual immorality. It's funny that the bible says, resist the devil and he will flee. When it comes to sexual immorality, we need to flee. So don't stand and fight what God told you to flee, and don't flee from what God told you to stand and fight. And when you sin in this area, repent before God. Tell somebody, bring it into the lights, and continue to set your mind on things above.”

#DeadToSinAliveInChrist
“When I was in sin, I celebrated the sin that I was living in. This is the sin that I loved and I wanted to do. And then I died to that in Christ, and I was raised to life. And now I don't wanna do that stuff even though I battle with that sin still, and I want to do the will of God. And so these are how these two things work together. Because we are dead with Christ, sin is no longer our master. Because you are raised with Christ, we have a new desire to obey and serve Jesus Christ.”
