#NewClothesNewLife
“Dear church, you are not what you were. You are the body of Christ. Put on clothes of reconciliation. Put on clothes of of resurrection. Put on the new clothes of your new life and really live into them. Live into them. Grow into them. Embody how they identify you, holy and beloved. Clothe yourselves in in heartfelt compassion, in kindness, in humility, in gentleness, and patience of Christ. Let people see that this is who you are. This is who we are.”

#FaithIsIdentity
“Dear church, this faith thing is not a part time job. Dear church, this calling to discipleship is not rote memorization and lip service. Dear church, this this isn't an interest group or a club. It's it's not a hobby or an extracurricular activity. This is a way of life. This is an identity. It's our identity. We are children of God. We are God's chosen, God's holy and beloved. We are the body of Christ, and that is massive. That is massive.”

#DiscardOldWays
“Take off what you were. Take off the clothes that marked you as people who did not know what you ought to do. How you ought to love. Who you ought to love. How you ought to treat and respond to the needs of the oppressed, the widow, the orphan, the refugee, the immigrant, the disenfranchised and abused, the outcast, and the enemy. Take off the clothes that identified you as people of impatience and impertinence. People of conditional compassion. Outward only honor masking inner greed and selfishness. Take off the clothes that cover up shame and self loathing. The clothes that convince you that you're ugly or unworthy or unable. Take off the clothes that brand you as a bully or a braggart. Take off the clothes that imprisoned you and kept you from realizing the goodness and abundance of life for which you were created.”
