“If I'm ignoring commands to forgive, to pray, to love my neighbor, if I'm ignoring to give generously or to walk in holiness or to make disciples, why would I expect special clarity about which job to take or where to move or what ministry opportunity to pursue? God is not withholding our guidance, but guidance is given to people who are willing to be guided. And if we believe that we will say yes this new, fresh, deep thing when we haven't said yes to see ourselves as in Christ or to forgive, I think we're missing it. And I don't want us to miss it. I don't want us to miss what god has for us in that fresh thing, that fresh direction, the thing that is present in front of us.”

#SanctifiedLife
“The Bible is not a mystery, especially in this verse right here. If you wanna know what god's will is for your life, his will is for you to be sanctified. Now that might not sound very appealing to some people because our identity has been in our past. Our identity has been in our shortcomings or where we've missed it or how bad we have been, but I'm telling you that we serve a good god, that the blood of Jesus is enough for us to be sanctified in the eyes of our father.”

#LiveLikeJesus
“What Jesus teaches you in scripture and teaches us in scripture is the will of the father. Yes. You can be confident that when you read the red letters in the gospels that that's all Jesus did. He only said what the father told him to say and so when you see a teaching, when you see a behavior, instruction, when you see an example, that is the will of god for your life. I mean, you have heard so many of us have heard the phrase, I wanna live like Christ. Sometimes, it's easy to point out in someone else. Well, that wasn't very Christ like. I don't know if anybody's ever thought or said that.”

#SmallActsBigImpact
“Do we see prayer as a little thing? Do we see forgiveness as a little thing? But we see a fresh word from God as this big epic thing that means I'm really close to God? And what if what we've called a little thing, something as simple as can you be faithful to forgive people quickly? You'll put yourself in a spot where you're able to handle a deep word from God. You'll be quicker to be able to discern what's of him and what's not of him because you've cherished and valued the things that he's made so plain in scripture. We aren't too spiritual as believers to live holy. Yeah. We aren't too spiritual to forgive. We aren't too spiritual to pray every day for people that we'll never meet.”
