52s
“``And the word perfect here, telesos. It doesn't mean flawless. The word in Greek means complete finished. Something taking all the way across the goal line. It's done. So perfect love is not my polished version of love towards God, my sacrifice of praise. It's not that's the response to it. Perfect love is God's complete love already given to you. It hung on a cross, and he said, it is finished. Nothing can dilute that. Nothing can water that down. Nothing can steal it away. Here's what the bible says, nothing can ever separate us from God's love.”
47s
“You are valued by what he is saying about you, not what fear is speaking, what we think, what the world is saying about us. He created you. He's the artist that designed you. He has the right to look at you and put a price on you, and the price is his own blood. So when the world called called you worthless, he called you worth dying for. So listen, church. This is why we say at City Reach, please come as you are. You don't have to pretend. You don't have to perform. You don't have to mask yourself. Come as you are because if we allow him, he's the artist, he'll take care of the rest.”

“Well, Daniel, you don't know what I did. Listen, I don't care about the con the the circumstances. I don't care about the mistakes and the sin that we all struggle with. Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Neither death, no life, neither angels, demons, neither our fears or worries, not even the powers of hell or the powers in the sky. Nothing in all creation. You and I are included in creation. I cannot separate myself from the love of God, neither can you. Nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus, our Lord. My friend, that's perfect love for you.”

“Only in that place will we stop performing. Only in that place will we stop thinking, well, what about my circumstances? Only in that place we will no longer be ashamed that we are not perfect, but we're gonna receive his perfect love. And in that place, isolation can go away. The spinning thoughts can leave because there is no room in that place when God's perfect love show up. Suspicion will be removed. Condemnation, worry, fear, it has no place. Not my perfect love for him, but the only perfect love in this room was never yours to earn. It is his love already finished, already fully given to you. So today, receive it again.”
