#ChurchOnMission
“The church does not simply exist to gather. The church gathers so that it could be sent out. Imagine if every church in our community disappeared tomorrow. Would anyone notice that it's gone? Would the hungry notice? Would struggling families notice? Would the community that surrounds us looking for hope notice? Jesus never envisioned a church that was disconnected from the world that was around us.”

#FaithInAction
“And I want us to understand that serving and doing missions does not save us alone. Only through Jesus can grace save us. But having a genuine, genuine faith will transform us. A changed heart will produce changed behavior and how we treat those who are surrounding us. The sheep did not simply serve in order to become sheep. They served because they already belong to the great shepherd.”

#CompassionInAction
“True compassion is love in motion. It leads us to go outside our own walls and be with the people. And if we do that enough, if we leave the walls and be with the people, it will lead to our compassion becoming a lifestyle. It will become natural just to do it just as the righteous in the parable that Jesus is telling. For the righteous did not serve because they expected the recognition and the glory and the honor. Serving others had become a part of who they were. Following Jesus had become truly a part of them.”
