#TrustNotChariots
“Chariots and horses back then were cutting edge military technology. If you had a slew of horses and a bunch of chariots, you had all the confidence in the world to go and do great exploits. You walked in like you owned the place. But here's the thing. Chariots fail, and horses grow tired. And the world tells you to trust in your career status, to trust in your ability to fix problems, to provide, and your ability to to outmuscle and outwit everyone else around you. But some trust in horses and chariots, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. That is how we identify ourselves.”

#PrayForDads
“A godly man's greatest defense is a praying and supportive church. We are not here just to applaud you when things go well. No. When you are in the roughest parts of your life, we are here to stand with you and say, when the warfare gets intense, we are not retreating. We're gonna stand with you, and we're gonna see God move in your life. When you are going through literal hell, we are here to do as the text says, to cry out to the Lord on your behalf. We are here to pray God's protection over you. Church, we need to commit to be praying for our father figures.”

#DadsPitCrew
“Today, we stand as your pit crew cheering you on even for the things that we don't see, for the sacrifices that you make that are not public, for the honesty and the humility that you show that goes unnoticed to everyone else, maybe even to your family. We may not see every decision, but we know your heart and we're in your corner. Continue to do the right thing even when no one's looking. It may seem like it's not making a difference, but you are quietly investing into the lives of those around you and for generations to come. May the Lord remember all of your sacrifices to him.”

#PrayHeartDesires
“You know, this verse is not about God granting selfish wishes or having material wealth. It's not about God giving you a bigger boat, a nicer truck, or great things that you can possess in your hands in that way, it is so much deeper than that. It is us praying to the Lord that he would fulfill the deepest desire of your heart. The desire that you have to be a good husband, to raise godly children, to leave a legacy of someone that is worth following. It's your heart that has been aligned with God's desires.”

#LegacyOfFaith
“And the greatest gift that we can give I'm a dad. The greatest gift we can give our kids is not a massive inheritance or a famous last name. Instead, it is to get to the end of our life and say, I trusted in the name of the Lord our God. So, dads, Hebrews 12 says, therefore, since you're surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off the weight, let us throw off the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race that is marked out for us. God has a great race for you, and you are not running alone.”

#HiddenSacrifices
“If you look in ancient Israel, sacrifices were were physical things. They were costly things. They were things that required daily attention. And so for fathers today, it doesn't look like that. Sometimes it looks like fathers choosing humility over pride. It chew it it takes us and looks like us dying to our selfish ambitions and choosing to operate with integrity when no one is looking. Can I tell you, God sees every unseen seed of faithfulness that you have planted in your life? And the church, your church, stands with you today to validate as first Corinthians 15 says that your labor is not in vain.”

#EyesOnCalling
“And the world tries to distract men with with empty promises. Right? It attempts to make things like our status and and our hobbies and our position and our power. It it attempts to make those things become the marker of of what it means to be a good and influential man, but the the church is here to help you keep your eyes on the prize, to keep your eyes on the things that really matter, those things that surpass great riches and surpass the toys, you know, the high calling of God on your life. May the Lord grant you your heart's desire.”

#BeGoodAndReal
“You know, it seems like there's this really weird tension with young men where they're being forced to to believe they have to choose between being a a good man and a real man. You know, the a good man, a man of integrity, and a man of morality and high character and someone who's sacrificial versus a a real man who's someone who's tough and rich and powerful and dominant and aggressive. And when in reality, they can be the best parts of a good man and a real man without giving in to Satan's attacks on identity.”
