The events of the cross and resurrection were not merely historical moments; they were the explosive genesis of a global missions movement. Through Christ's victory, power was released to change the world. This divine commissioning empowers the church to be a house of prayer for all nations, carrying the transformative message of salvation to the ends of the earth. Our intercession is a vital part of seeing this mission fulfilled. [54:47]
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV)
Reflection: As you consider the power released through Christ's resurrection, what is one specific way you can participate in interceding for the salvation of people in your community or around the world this week?
Our primary identity is not found in what we do but in our relationship with Christ as sons and daughters. This identity is the source from which all mission flows, preventing a life of performance and duty. From this place of intimacy, we are then sent out. We do not simply do mission as an activity; we are called to live mission as our very way of being in the world. [01:31:53]
Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21 NIV)
Reflection: How does understanding your identity as a 'sent one' change the way you view your daily routines, your workplace, and your interactions with others?
The Great Commission calls us to more than making individual disciples within nations. The mandate is to disciple entire nations, to see every sphere of society—education, government, business, and culture—engulfed by the influence and goodness of Jesus. This is a call to transformative influence that shapes the very fabric of our communities for the glory of God. [01:22:34]
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15 NIV)
Reflection: In which sphere of society—such as education, local government, or your industry—do you feel a specific burden to see God's goodness and influence manifested?
The church is not the final goal; it is the God-ordained vehicle and resource center for His kingdom mission. Our gatherings are for equipping and sending, not merely for maintenance. The primary focus is to be fueled and challenged so we can go into the world to transform it, carrying the fragrance of Christ into every corner of our Monday-through-Saturday lives. [01:36:32]
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8 NIV)
Reflection: What is one practical step you can take this week to shift your perspective of the church from a destination to a launching pad for your kingdom assignment?
We are called to leave a legacy that impacts generations to come. This means allowing the kingdom values of righteousness, peace, and joy to permeate our marriages, families, and vocations. It involves courageously standing for biblical truth in a shifting culture, becoming a godly influence that points our world back to its Creator. [01:37:06]
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NIV)
Reflection: Where in your personal life or circle of influence is God inviting you to courageously demonstrate His righteousness, peace, or joy this week?
Two thousand years after the cross and resurrection, the resurrection stands as the source of a global missions movement that has drawn billions into the kingdom of God. Communion and corporate intercession function as gateways to that mission life, inviting the community to pray for worldwide salvation and to receive empowerment for outward work. A new season called Legacy replaces the old “heart for the house” emphasis, shifting resources and focus toward sustained mission activity—local outreach, international partnerships, camps, and justice work—funded through a targeted offering and intentional first-fruits stewardship.
Two internal shifts shape the next phase: a deepening of intimacy with God so service flows from identity and relationship rather than duty or performance; and a strong move outward, described as the church “inside out,” where the gathered community becomes the sending people who influence families, schools, workplaces, and government. Matthew 28 gets a fresh reading: the command to “make disciples of all nations” carries corporate and systemic weight—baptizing nations and institutions, not merely adding individuals to the church roster. This reframes evangelism as cultural transformation, calling for strategic engagement with education, politics, business, and the arts.
The call to influence insists that ordinary vocations become arenas of ministry. Workplaces, classrooms, and boardrooms can carry the fragrance of Christ when people live mission daily rather than confining faith to Sunday gatherings. Turning inward produces comfort, program-focus, and attendance metrics; turning outward produces cultural impact, justice initiatives, and long-term legacy. Practical examples include efforts against human trafficking, school ministries, and family-focused discipleship, all held together by the conviction that God builds the church while the community advances the kingdom.
A financial and missional ask accompanies the vision: a legacy fund to underwrite ongoing mission activity with a stated goal and accompanying stories of impact. The season closes with a commissioning prayer, an invitation to new faith, and a challenge to move from being merely a gathered people to being a resourced, sent people who live mission wherever they are.
We are called to make a difference in our society, to think missional, to heal the waters of the city. We talked about this in two kings, whatever. Kingdom assignment, transforming the world with the good news of Jesus, kingdom builders. I go for it across now. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I tell you, Jesus wants your place to become like his place. He wants his place to become like your place in your marriage, children, grandchildren, workplace, whatever you do. The fragrance of heaven everywhere we go, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It is the church inside out. Legacy is all about the church inside out. The legacy is the outward focus in Jesus' name.

That's why one of our values is your vocation is your ministry because we gotta have ministers in your vocation in the boardroom everywhere we go. Right? Our identity is being a sent people. Our identity is also being Christ, of course, but we are also a sent people. It's not just something we do. I wrote this down. We don't do mission. We live mission.

to change the world. And whatever wherever's a metron that you find yourself in, that's what God wants you to change in business policy, whatever's whatever. Whatever. Get in there and and let Jesus go through. No. I don't agree with what you're saying right now. I do wanna have bible in schools and start fighting for it.

Now I wanna I wanna show you something. Have have a look at that thing. So what happened was in in verse 17, right, in verse 17, same chapter, verse 17, Jesus reveals himself. The disciples for the first time, except for the women who saw him being resurrected, they saw him for the first time in verse 17 at end of Matthew. Right? 28. Right? They saw him and some doubted. Right? Yeah. Exactly. But what happened the next verse?

#VisionToContribute
And I I I just want you to get a vision of how you can contribute, how in your life you become this. Yeah. We got an offering. It's fine because we gotta pay for all these things because most of those things, missionaries and stuff, they can't pay themselves. It's the way it is. But the thing is though, it's more like it's more the vision. Are we gonna be the church inside out? And are we are we really gonna gonna gonna walk the talk? Walk the talk and and and change the world around us when you go tomorrow. It's no longer really about gathering the church on Sunday. It's not the main focus. The main focus is being equipped and challenged on Sunday and to go into the world on Monday. And you are when you walk out of this place, you are now entering your kingdom assignment. And that's what it's all about.

Come on. I tell you, if the church leaves a vacuum and does not step into this place of influence and bring the kingdom of God, then the ungodly influences people will start to run your life, will start to run this nation. I honestly have hardly ever talked about this. I was actually quite fearful to talk about this this morning. I said, Lord, I don't like because some people are gonna be offended. When you call a spade a spade, people are gonna be offended. I said, well, just just do it. Just do it. It's terrible.

Sex out of marriage outside of marriage is not okay, young people and older people. Let's call what it is. Come on. What kind of testimony are we to the world if our marriages fail in the same rate as the world does? They don't, by the way. But if they do guys, we got some work to do. We are meant to be, like Catherine says, influences. We are the fragrance of Christ. That means we have families. Do everything you can. I mean, Katherine and I, we've been fighting for fighting for years. Are we fighting? Yeah.

#MarriageAsTestimony
True. It's it's actually a Freudian slip, but it is fighting for years. We've been fighting for years for our marriage. I mean, we were fighting for yeah. We could have been divorced so many times. No. Serious. We we she's a hothead, man. I'm sorry. I'm a hothead. I'm a hothead. I I so I am the hothead.

The things that are happening I mean, the gospel, you're right. The gospel Kenneth says the gospel is offensive. I mean, we are so shaped. Come on. We are so shaped by this woke culture at the moment. Is it a boy or a girl? Well, it's got the bits, but they can choose for themselves. What what about what nonsense that we are allowing, by the way, in our nation?
