“See, often times when we think about this, if if you spent any time in church, maybe you've heard before that Matthew chapter 28 verses 18 through 20 is called the great commission. Many times, we are guilty of treating it as though it is a great suggestion and when it's treated as a great suggestion, the commission actually ends up becoming an omission. It becomes something that we can easily look over but Jesus has commissioned. It means he is empowered. He is positioned. He is the one that goes before us and hems us in behind. He is the one that directs us into this mission where he has called us to go. And so the great commission is not a ministry that we administer in the church.
