#ObeyGodNotMan
“``But the apostles were brought to the high council, an authority, a human authority, where they said they must never ever teach again in the name of Jesus, in Acts chapter five. And they said we must obey God rather than any human authority. So we obey God and not man when man's laws contradict God's laws. Our primary fidelity, our first fidelity is, can I do this in Christ? Okay.”

#NarrowWayRoadLessTraveled
“Reality check is maybe that you've felt like, as we've journeyed through Romans 12, or maybe you've read the Sermon on the Mount, you think, nobody does this. Well, it's because it's a narrow way. It's a narrow gate, and very few actually choose it. Very few of us choose to live the Jesus way. Jesus tells us. But there's rejoicing on the road less traveled, isn't there? Because there, we are led to life. We're led to life on the road less traveled.”

#RejectWorldlyPolitics
“And I would say, candidly, that the church has been very attracted by the way of the world to manipulate government. Now, we've taken on the polarized, hateful, condemning type persona that we just observed from the way of the world, and we're trying to fight evil with evil. Can we agree that maybe we've witnessed that where where we've leaned into trying to do politics the world's way rather than the Jesus way? And that's why I stumbled through this text. Did some repenting this week because we show honor and respect because we're not of this world. We're we're we're following the Jesus way, and and it's in their way, and few will choose it.”

#GentleChristianWitness
“Name an authority that Jesus hated. He chastised the pharisees for sure. Did he so contempt or try to get pilot while he was close? No. The bible tells us that we shouldn't let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, only speak what is helpful for building up in Ephesians, and earlier it says to be humble and gentle, that we're to be subject to rulers and authorities and not slander one anyone but be peaceable and considerate and gentle, as Titus three says. Christians are not violent insurrectionists. They're not hateful activists, and they're not avenging anarchists. That's not who we are.”
