#LionAndLambParent
“``Be loving. I know some guys that kids can't stand their daddies because they're mean spirited, smart, ethically, cutting them off, won't hug them, won't love on them. I remember the the movie Eight Seconds and the girl that was in there, his girlfriend and wife graduate from Jackson Pratt. Wasn't Luke Perry the one that was doing the the the character? And when he got killed and got gored up in Wyoming or somewhere up there, and his daddy was standing in there after the funeral and he got to crying. He said, I never told him I was proud of him and loved him. You watch the Manning, Manning on ESPN 30 for 30. His dad committed suicide. He was a hard guy. He was tough, but you know what he did? He's our Archie doesn't and Archie was my hero at the time. Excuse me. At the time, he says, I made sure that I told Eli and Peyton and Cooper every day that I love them. No matter what, no matter where, I love them. I told Stuart and Cody, I love them. I mean it with all my fiber but I wanna be loving toward them. Listen to me, guys. You need to write this down. You be a lion for your kids and you be a lamb with them. You be a lion for em. That means you destroy anything that comes around that's not good for em but you be a lamb with them and hug em up. There are times you just need a hug. Be loving.”

#NoChildIsAMistake
“He said, don't anger, aggravate, irritate your children. There's a difference in having fun with them and poking fun at them but being mean to them just because you didn't want them. And let me tell you something. Please understand this. Right now, every life that's ever been conceived is not a mistake. It might be unplanned, but it's not a mistake. That life, god's word says, god is the author, that means the beginning, and the ending of life. No child is a mistake because let me tell you what you're doing. When you speak to that child and say, this is our mistake. We wouldn't do this. This is a mistake. We wouldn't we wouldn't plan. You've just planted an ugly seed in that child's heart and in that child's mind. First sermon we ever preached talked about again in the Bible study this morning about Jabez. Jabez is main name meant born with pain. Every time the name Jabez come out, people say that that child's a pain.”

#ChooseChristFirst
“So, here's the here's the bottom line and we'll close it. Where are you in Jesus? Where are you in Jesus that are watching? Where are you? Have you asked Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and to come into your life and be your lord and savior? Have you done that? That's first and foremost because let me tell you something. I know my two boys and my two daughter in laws are going to be in heaven. I want my three grandchildren there. And I want my nieces and nephews kids there. I want my inner family there. I I want all of you all there but I want the core of Carl Larry Saxton Junior. My lamb on the Saxon tree, I want em in heaven with me. That should be your burning desire that you do not draw your last breath into your group. Is born again by the blood of Jesus Christ. That's priority number one.”

#WalkWithGodDaily
“I've done that preacher. I'm good. Well, then, how are you walking with the lord? Have you ever asked god to give you the walk that Enoch had? Enoch walked with god and was no more. He's kissed miss Enoch as goodbye kiss in the morning. He and god took off a walk and god said, whoo, homeboy. This is so good. Just come on with me and walk right out of heaven into Earth. See, that's the kind of relationship you should want and you can get it because you can get it here. That is, get your good mess of the word. Get your good overdosing of the holy ghost and watch your family life get better. Watch your marriage get better and your job get better and your friends get better and your finances, anything else you've got on your ledger get better. If you put god first, that's the question.”
