#TakeTheCrossSeriously
“Some of us hear those words, and we rejoice. Yes. That's exact. I am waiting. I cannot wait for that. But there's some here who you hear those words, and you are not encouraged. Instead, perhaps, you hear those words and you're terrified. You know that if Jesus would return at this instant, you would not be meeting him in the air. You would not be with him forever. You have not taken him seriously. You're not taking the second coming seriously, and you haven't actually taken his first coming seriously. You haven't taken the cross, the bloody shed, price he paid for your sins. You haven't even taken that seriously. Thank god that he took you seriously when he came the first time and died for your sins.”

#KeepYourOilReady
“Oil is symbolic in the bible of the holy spirit, the presence of god. The the foolish bridesmaids didn't bother to make sure that God was with them. Have you stopped taking the return of Christ seriously? If so, let me warn you. Soon, you'll stop taking other things seriously too. Personal holiness. Pretty soon, you'll be like Samson after his hair was cut. Samson began to trust in his own strength instead of God. And the tragic scripture that says, and he didn't even know that the spirit of the Lord had departed from him. He didn't even know.”

#JesusLambAndLion
“The point being that the first time Jesus came as a humble suffering servant, he came as the lamb. But his return is as a conquering king, the lion. He's gonna crush his enemies as if in a wine press. And when he does, it will truly be the end of the world as we know it. But that's not to say it's the end of the planet, but the end of sin.”
