#HonorChristIntimacy
“``What I'm pointing to you there is that this is very deep. This is very intimate about what he is saying here between the believer and Christ. So if one one of goes to a prostitute, he would be taking Jesus with him or her. And Paul says, never. Never. Never. Certainly not. Don't even think about it. I'm sure his tone, his his mind, he was emphatic about this statement. Never do it.”

#SexualityGuidedByGod
“Paul's life philosophy free to do many things. Right? But he knew that if he gave in to his sexual desires, it would not end well for him. They would master him, and Paul knew very clearly that engaging in sin is never profitable. And so here's the first point, the first Christian principle for sexual for sexuality that honors God and blesses you. Our sexuality must be guided by God. It must be guided by God. Left to ourselves in our fallen state, sexual immorality will will take over. It will master us, and God has given us guardrails so that we can actually enjoy this gift of of physical intimacy to its its end, to what he designed it for.”

#ChooseLastingIntimacy
“We understand this. Sexual morality, you can have momentary pleasure, but there will always be long term consequences. Long term consequences. As Paul said, it can dominate you, and for some people, you become a slave to it. The only thing we're supposed to be a slave to is God, actually. But today, the way the world operates, there's just these ongoing casual hookups, there's multiple sexual partners, there's experimentation, is that's the norm that we live in. And the result of that is, well, yeah, there's some temporary pleasure, but there's also some serious breakups. There's some serious hurt feelings, damaged. There are people that are that are are are just dulled to anything truly intimate that God designed because they have gone down this path.”

#BodyIsGodsTemple
“That was principle number four. Let's look at principle number five, the last one we have today. It says this, because God's holy spirit dwells in you, use your bodies to glorify God. Again, he starts out, do you not know? They should know. He's taught this before. That your body is the temple of the holy spirit within you, whom you have from God. You are not your own for you were bought with a price. So or therefore, glorify god with your bodies. Here again, Paul is stating something, then they previously knew, previously taught, building on this ones he mentions or this one ship he mentions earlier that they are one with god through the power of the holy spirit indwelling them.”
