“that he died on the cross for you to take away your sin, not his own, but your sin, and rose three days later to overcome death just so he can be your friend and lord and a lord now as you live. And he will be your friend and lord after death as well. And all you have to do is believe. Sounds simple. Right? But I know it takes a holy spirit. And that Jesus to recognize that Jesus is lord and repent, and your sins will be forgiven. And you know for certain then that these sins will be as far removed from the East as from the West, that you can take a heart in that.”

“As far as the east is from the west. So let that sink in for a few minutes. As the kids identified, you can't even see the east or west. And he's removed us that far from our sins, so even the Lord can't see our sin because Jesus took our sin away. And if you are here in person or watching online and not sure if you will pass the judgment of God or maybe don't even believe there is a living God, then I pray you hear this today, that there is a living God, and he loves you. He loves each of you, all of you, and has so much compassion for you that and for each of us that he died on the cross for you to take away your sin, not his own, but your sin, and rose three days later to overcome death just so he can be your friend and lord.”
