Day 1: God Sees Potential Where We See Limitation
God’s view of us is so much deeper than our own. While we often focus on our flaws, failures, or the labels others have placed on us, God looks beyond all of that. He sees the person He created us to be, full of purpose and potential. Even when we feel hidden, overlooked, or unqualified, God calls us by a new name—one that speaks to our destiny, not our insecurity.
When we trust God’s vision for our lives, we begin to step out of the shadows of fear and into the light of His calling. He invites us to see ourselves through His eyes, to believe that we are more than our weaknesses or our past. Today, let God’s perspective shape your identity and your future.
“But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.’” (1 Samuel 16:7, ESV)
Reflection: What is one label or limitation you’ve believed about yourself that God might be inviting you to see differently today?
