#LiveWithUrgency
“If the thief is coming, how should we live? I'm glad you all are asking. Peter shifts from prophecy to practice. Since all things will be dissolved, what matters of persons ought to be to you? He answers as in the such way. Holy conduct, godliness, expectation, eagerness, purity, and peace. If the thief is coming, you don't live casually. You don't live distracted. You don't live spiritually asleep. If they told you that the tornado was coming or there's gonna be strong winds, when we had whatever was going on, everybody was going to the stores and they was buying up toilet paper and all of the food you were preparing. How do we constantly try to prepare naturally, but we're constantly sleeping supernaturally?”

#LiveReadyPlanWise
“``Live like Jesus could return today, but plan like he may not return in your lifetime. The balance creates urgency without panic, purpose without fear, discipline without despair. Use God's delay to grow, not drift. Use his delay that gives you to develop in the things. If God has given you time, it's because he expects transformation, not stagnation. His patience is a window, a window to repent. Hear me this. A window, to mature. given you a window. This is your window. He's given you a window to obey, a window to become, a window to be disciplined.”

#GodOnMission
“We measure time by minutes. God measures time by mission. We say it's been so long. God says, I'm right on schedule. We say, lord, hurry. God says, I'm working, son. I'm working, daughter. We say, why the delay? God says, because I love you. I'm not going to move you forward without having everything that you need in this season, in this hour. I need to know that you can see the light. I need to know that you can see the dark.”

#RiseAndRespond
“Every sunrise is a sermon unto your life. Every breath is an invitation. Every moment is mercy extending itself in your life. God is not slow. He is saving. God is not slow. He is saving. He is waiting because he wants more people to be rescued. It's like when you get up and you do what you wanna do, not what you're supposed to do, it's heaven looking down on you showing you grace. There's places in your life you've laid down and God wants you to lift up and walk through. Uh-huh. There's things that God has told you to start doing and you have not done them yet, and you're just laying down and he's giving you grace. There are things he's told you to stop doing, stop saying, stop being connected to, and you're still spiritually laid down. And he's given you grace.”

#DelayIsMercyNotPermission
“The thief comes suddenly but the savior comes shortly. Alright. Don't confuse god's patience with permission. Just because god hasn't judged a situation doesn't mean he approves it. Delay is mercy, not endorsement. God's patience is not a pass. It's a chance for you and I to get it right. I always tell those that are close to me, you better correct it for he corrects you. He gives you time privately. Ah, and sometimes he gonna do it publicly. He gives you time to get it right. He gives you time to shape yourself. He gives you time to come to him with all of your things. He his waiting is not weakness. It's willingness. Willingness to give you time, willingness to give others time, willingness to let repentance rise before judgment falls.”

#UseYourWindow
“One day, the hour of window of grace will be closed. The patience of God will give away to the purpose of God. Peter says the day of the Lord will come like a thief unexpected, undeniable, unstoppable. So the question is not why is God taking so long. The real question is what am I doing with the time he's given me? Because the God who waits is not slow. He's saving. He's reaching. He's loving, and he's calling. And today, he's calling you. Wake up, rise up, and join the God who waits. Please stand.”

#WaitingIsWorking
“As I said to my son, something did not move in the way he wanted to in the upcoming weeks. I said, you don't know what God is doing right now. Don't fight his intentionality. Amen. Come on. Come on. Help us, Lord. We see waiting as wasted time. God sees waiting as working time. He's he's working that thing. He he he's working that thing. We thank god is moving slow but god is moving at the speed of salvation. speed of mercy, the speed of eternal plan. God says, I have to move at the speed that I need to move at. God's delay is mercy in motion. Put that in your notes. God's delay is mercy motion.”

#GuardYourMindset
“Peter warns that scoffers will come, but he never says they come from the outside of the church. A scoffer is not defined by their mouth, but a scoffer is defined by their mindset. Hear me. You can sit in church and still live like a scoffer. You can sit in church and live like a a scoffer if you treat god's promises as casual. You you can sit in church and live like a scoffer if you assume that tomorrow is guaranteed. Come on here. You can live like a scoffer if you believe that a delay equals denial. You can live like a scoffer, Liz, as if god will not interrupt your plans.”

#AnswerTheCallNow
“What assignment have you postponed? God has said, I'm giving you time. When you gonna start serving? When you gonna start seeking? When when you gonna start saying yes? When are you gonna start doing the things that he's called you to do? God's patience is an opportunity for transformation. And if God is delaying it's because he wants more people saved, then every believer should be participating in the mission. God's patience is a invitation to evangelize, to intercede, to disciple, to reconcile. We must not waste time. God is using to save our lives.”

#UnstoppableArrival
“A thief does not announce his arrival. A thief does not send a warning. A thief does not give you time to prepare. Peter says God's delay is mercy, but his arrival will be sudden. will happen like a thief the night. The heavens will pass away. The elements will dissolve. The earth and its works will be exposed. In other words, everything we thought was stable will shake. My god. Everything we thought was stable is gonna start shaking. That's what god says. Some trust in chariots. Some some trust in horses. Some even trust in nappy heads. I put my trust in the Lord. The heavens will pass away. Everything will thought you thought was stable will shake. Everything we thought was permanent will melt. Everything we thought mattered will be revealed for what truly it was. The delay is merciful. The arrival is unstoppable.”

#MercyOnTheMove
“Sister, look up mercy. Every day Jesus does not return. Hear me. Every day that Jesus does not return is another day god is reaching for someone's soul. Every he does not return. someone's soul. Amen. Mercy. Mercy means showing kindness and forgiveness to someone when you have the power to punish or harm them. His mercy is showing kindness and forgiveness to us when he has the power to punish and harm us. How many times did god tell you to stop doing something and you're still doing it? It's because he's showing you mercy, and he could show you wrath.”
38s
#WorkWhileYouWait
“You you you live and and and you live awake. You live like someone who understands the delays of mercy. You live and know that the arrival is coming. Peter says we should be looking for a hasting the coming of the day of God. In other words, don't just wait for him. Work for him. are not passive spectators. We are active participants in God's rescue mission. And Peter gives hope. We are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”

#RepairAndRise
“This is your window, your time. When is this gonna run out? We don't know. Your life is right before you, and God is saying time is running out. He's giving you time to understand what sin should you confront in this hour. He's giving you time, what calling should you pursue in this hour. He's giving you time on what relationships you should repair in this hour, who you need to apologize We don't know how to say I apologize in this this lifetime. We don't know how to say that we're wrong in this lifetime. You know you was loud and wrong. And God is saying, I'm giving you if you can't see that you were wrong, I can't see how I'm a move you along. I'm giving you time to get this right.”
41s
#ChurchWakeUp
“He's saying, wake up. Don't get spiritually sleepy. Don't let delay deceive you. Don't let time make you think god forgot. This passage is not merely about prophecy. It's about perspective, urgency, and holiness and god's hearts for humanity. Peter is not writing to the world. He's writing to the church. Believers who love god but have grown comfortable with his delay.”
61s
#GodIsIntentional
“Scofers forget history because they are blinded by the present. But Peter says, don't let the present moments erase the internal patterns. God has intervened before and god will intervene again. God is not inactive. God is very intentional. Hear me today. God ain't just sitting on the throne. God is very intentional about how and when he's gonna bust his move. Amen. He stepped in. He has stepped in now. He moved in history and he gonna move in your story. Who am I talking to? He's not sitting still. He is setting some things up in your life. He's not delaying what's happening. He's directing what needs to take place. He's not silent. He's staging the next move.”

#DiscernSpiritualTime
“Beloved, imagine standing on the very edge of time, not figuratively, literally, before we stepped into second Peter, let me remind you where god had us last week. We stood in Matthew 24 when the 10 virgins, right place, right time, but wrong revelation. They were positioned correctly, but they perceived incorrectly. They had lamps but no insight. They had opportunity but no urgency, and I believe God is continuing the same thread today. Last week, Jesus taught us to discern spiritual time. This week, Peter teaches us to discern god's eternal timing. Last week was about readiness. This week is about god's patience. Last week, we warned us about not falling asleep. This week warns us not to misinterpret the delay.”

#RescueTheDrowning
“And there are some who are literally drowning spiritually. And you know when they say somebody is drowning, you're supposed to handcuff them where? Under their arms. And you get them out under their arm. Yeah. And then they they sweat it back. You've been so far drifted from God, and he's trying to get you under the arm and swim you back closer to him. He's trying to get you back in prayer with him. He's trying to get you back in time with him. He's trying to get you back you won't drown in this season. So God says, son, he says, daughter, time is running out. is running out.”
67s
#RespondToGodNow
“I'm trying to get you to wake up. Every time I wake you up at 2AM, I'm to get you to wake up. And every time I'm speaking to you. I'm trying to get you to wake up. Every every time I tell you no, I'm trying to get you to wake up spiritually. I I'm trying to blow breath inside of you so you could breathe. I do remember this part. And then you God God is trying to does he hear me? Does she hear me? I said no, daughter. I said no, son. Okay. They still went to yes. I said don't go. They still went. Come on. God is saying, I I said get rid of the phone number. I said get rid of the pictures. I said stop going there. And I'm waiting. He's waiting for us to respond so that we are alert.”

#GrowthNotPunishment
“And some of us are choking in life. And God is saying, you think that this is punishment, but I am trying to maneuver you because I don't want you choking no more when challenges come. I don't want you choking no more, hippocles, when I'm trying to develop you and you keep saying it's the enemy. That's not the enemy. That's me. I'm trying to develop you in a season so you can live this thing out so you're not on an emotional roller coaster. I'm trying to wake you up, son and daughter.”

#ReadyForHisReturn
“You know when your rent's due, your mortgage's due. You know when your cell phone is due. But we surely don't know the time of the day when the king is coming back. There there will not be an announcement. You won't be able to pack your clothes the night before. What you doing? Getting ready for glory? No. It won't be none of that. Come on here. And then what you doing? You know, if you lay your clothes out the first day of school, your shoes. But you're getting ready for it. It won't be none of that. And my family know every man, woman, and dog are for themselves. I'm getting up on that cloud to seat you because I've been preparing what the reverend said. Do you know you're have a meeting with my insignificant self and do and do? But time is running out. The thief does not announce his arrival, A thief does not send his warning, and he does not give you time to prepare. God is saying how will you conduct yourself. He's coming and you should not live casually.”
