Day 2: The Choice of Eternity
While hell was not designed for us, it becomes a destination through our choices. God respects our free will, allowing us to decide our eternal fate. This highlights the importance of intentional living and making choices that align with God's will, leading us towards life rather than destruction. The freedom to choose is a profound gift, but it also carries the weight of responsibility. Our daily decisions, both big and small, contribute to the path we are on, and ultimately, our eternal destination. [00:31]
"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days." (Deuteronomy 30:19-20, ESV)
Reflection: Reflect on a recent decision you made. Did it align with God's will and lead you towards life? How can you be more intentional in your choices today?
