#GraceNotApproval
“``Because success in ministry is not necessarily tied to God's approval. Sometimes it's tied to his grace. Sometimes it's tied to his grace. In other words, God may allow your plans in life to sometimes succeed even at times independent of what God prefers. Don't take that to mean that God is blessing you. No. God's just being merciful to you and giving you the time that you need to repent. You might see some positive changes from doing stuff your way instead of god's way at times. Don't let that swell your ego up. God is just showing you patience or at times showing grace to the people that you happen to be leading.”

#SurrenderForGlory
“Don't be too comfortable with your routine when God is calling you to something new. Lay down your staff. If you want to witness the glory of God and his presence, we need to cooperate. Second point of the message, cooperate with God by faith so that his power is made evident above our own self reliance. Above our own self reliance and self dependency. God is looking for people to lay down their glory in exchange for his. The question is, what are you willing to lay down today that's in the way of god's glory?”

#GodGetsTheGlory
“God could've gained so much more glory had Moses just simply spoken to the rock. Right? Instead of beating it in his own strength. This is why this was such an egregious sin in on Moses' part because at the end of the day, this miracle became way too much about Moses and far too little about God. And God has spoken very clearly in his word where he says that I am the Lord, that is my name, and I will not share my glory with another. He's he's he's he wants the glory all to himself because he's jealous for his glory. And even the best of us would be held accountable when we settle for substitutes of that Because Moses was as good as it gets.”

#LayDownPrideTrustGod
“God might be telling somebody today, I want you to lay down that pride and trust me to fight your battles for you. Put down your fears and trust me to provide for your needs. Put down your plans and trust me to guide your future. It's not about what we can do sometimes. It's about what he can do when we trust him completely by faith. Likewise, God was challenging Moses. He's saying, Moses, I want you to relax your self sufficiency and trust exclusively in me.”
