#JesusPaidItAll
“This verse tells us that on your own, you fall short of God's righteousness, and are en route to hell. But God presents his son Jesus Christ as an adequate sacrifice for your sins. Jesus' death for your sins, empties out God's wrath against you. Leaving you righteous. Leaving you in a position where the sentence over you is one of not guilty. Leaving you acceptable for eternal life with God. Isaiah 53 verse five, talking about Christ says, but he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities, and the punishment that brought us peace with God was laid on him. Jesus paid the price friends, And you receive it. You receive the gift by believing in him.”

#GodsJustJudgment
“And friends, God is going to judge people and sin one day, because he is a righteous God. And Revelation 19, when talking about his judgments says that they are true and just. God's judgments are absolutely fair. Many think that they are arbitrary cruelty, but they are not arbitrary cruelty. God is righteous and fair. His judgments are true and just. And unfortunately, for all people, sin places us on a road that destines us for a place called hell. And friends, hell is a terrible topic. And just reading in recent weeks, the revelations in scripture are horrific. But I want to say that it is a necessary topic.”

#HellIsNotPurgatory
“And I want to say on this that hell is not purgatory. This idea that you go to hell because you're a sinner and you get punished until all your sins have been punished enough. And then somehow you get released from your suffering To spend eternity in heaven. Cos it makes a small issue of sin when you think like that. And sin is not a small issue to God. It's not an issue where he could punish people only for a little while to clean them up for heaven, then God would have no need to send his son to die for our salvation. And it's worth thinking about. The reality is God chose to send his son to die for sinners. Cos it was the only way to save sinners. Because sin is so serious, it can only be satisfactorily punished with eternal fire.”

#SheepAndGoatsJudgment
“Cos hell is the fate of all men whose sins are not forgiven by Christ. All men, all women whose sins have not been forgiven by Christ. You know, Matthew 25, Jesus says that he is going to separate people one from another one day. In the same way that somebody would separate sheep from goats. And he goes on to say that the righteous will be invited into heaven with them. And I I I use heaven loosely as the new heaven on earth. But he goes on to say that the guilty will be judged by Christ and punished in hell. You know hell is not a place often incorrectly portrayed by popular culture, music, and media, really does the world a big disservice. It is not a place where Satan rules as king.”
