#BringItToLight
“So let me ask first question. Are there any areas of your life that are hidden in the dark, and you don't want them to come into the light? Until you bring it into the light of Jesus, that thing growing in the dark will be trying to poison your future. It could be a lie, an indiscretion, a theft. Could be something on your screen, could go from coveting other people's fancy things or looks to pornography to gambling to you name it. The holy spirit is saying to you today, sir, madam, wake up. Rise up from among the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

#FreedomNotAlcohol
“So let's not be those who say, well, that's them. It's not the same. I'm I'm able to handle it. Everything that is sought after in drinking is available in the holy spirit. Freedom from the burdens of the future, stress, all those things that people use alcohol for. Paul is saying, instead of being drunk with wine, then he goes on and said, instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit. What he's saying is the things that people look to alcohol for, if you will be filled with the spirit, those same benefits will come to you and without a hangover and without all of the negative effects that go along with the other way of dealing with things.”

#FromDarkToLight
“The apostle Paul, who's the author of this book, says, you light. Doesn't just say you have light or there is light. And what he's doing is creating a clear description of what we were before we met Jesus and what we are after we meet Jesus. Before we met Christ, he says, were darkness. Not just you were in darkness, but you were darkness in that there was darkness within. But now when you come to Christ, you are light. You've been had an undeniable transfer from one position to the other, and it's not subtle. When you turn the light on in a room, the change is dramatic.”

#RiseIntoLight
“And finally, you are that person today that needs to make the decision to come to the light of Jesus. You're the person, and it's like you've been sleeping or you're exhausted or you're wounded, but you're still alive, and you're here. Why don't you stand up from among the dead and let the light of Jesus give you a new life? The best part of you, sir, the best part of you, sister, is sleeping if you're not living with Christ's light inside. Jesus is the great illuminator who's ready to shine on your dark and drowsy soul. Jesus will bring his light, his life to your soul as soon as you stir yourself out of your sleep.”

#LiveAsLight
“It's a spiritual transaction. So then the apostle says, so since you are light, as children of light. Live as people of the light. What does it look like? If we say, I have the light of Christ within me. I have the holy spirit within me who is light. What does it look like in life? There are three words in this passage. It says the fruit of the spirit is in goodness, which is doing good to people. It's practical, means you're no longer living for yourself. It's in righteousness, which is the action of doing what God wants or says is right, righteousness and truth.”

#AccountabilityLight
“``I wanna just speak for a minute about accountability. I hope you'll remember this phrase, everything in the light. When something that's not right in our lives stays hidden a secret in the dark, it retains power over us. When we bring it into the light, that power is broken, and the love of Christ, the healing, the power of Christ can bring us into victory in that area of our lives.”

#ConfessAndBeFree
“There are certain things that some people struggle with that will only be overcome by accountability that brings everything into the light. The confession of sin one to another. It's biblical. Asking a brother or asking a sister, I need you to hold me accountable. Here are the questions you can ask me. Everything in the light. When it's in the darkness, it's like a a a secret in a little cage. And you can just occasionally go in there and open the cage and, you know, pet the snake. But when it's in the light and you have accountability, the question is if you wanna live in the light, the light makes everything visible. So is everything in the light in our lives is the question. Or what's left in the darkness? What's left hidden? The light makes everything visible.”

#WalkWiselyNow
“Scripture is saying to us today, look carefully then how you walk. The the literal translation is so stop becoming like those who are foolish. And here the contrast that the writer is making is between wisdom and foolishness because he says the time is short. Make the most of every opportunity. Make the most of your life instead of living thoughtlessly, instead of wasting time because these are evil days. Make the most of every opportunity. Live in the light of what the lord wants you to do.”
