#PresenceOverAttendance
“``Church, I submit that the greatest tragedy we are facing is not that our young people are disappearing from our churches. The greatest tragedy is they are disappearing from the presence of god. They are performing at events but no personal encounter. They are ministering but they're not becoming ministers. No one church is not the same as knowing Christ. If standing if me standing at the airport doesn't make me an airplane No. Right. Then coming to church does not automatically make me a disciple.”

#ProximityIsNotPresence
“See, the devil doesn't always have to remove people, our young people from the church house. He can keep them in the church house with a sense of false security. Yeah. He wants them to assume that they know Jesus. supposed we suppose that they know Jesus all because they perform in the Christmas program. Right. Right. We suppose they know Jesus because they say they Christmas speech really good. suppose they know Jesus because they're the best praise dancer we have. Supposed to the Greek means the way things happen. That's the way it should be. In other words, a young man if a young man become a junior deacon, he's supposed to become a deacon. a young person sing in the choir, they're supposed to sing in the mass choir. If a youth is part of youth ursher, they're supposed to be a part of the adult urshers. That's false security. Yeah. Because we must realize that you can be in proximity to Christ but not in the presence of Christ.”

#TraditionVsTransformation
“what traditions are we protecting what our youth are perishing? Lord. What routines are we preserving while our children are drifting? What programs are we maintaining while our young people are missing? What customs are we defending while our generation is dying spiritually? What methods are we celebrating while our sons and daughters are searching for hope? Are we willing to tear down traditions so this generation can experience transformation? Alright. Alright. Are we willing to sacrifice our preferences so our children can discover his presence?”

#DistractedGeneration
“Whether they get lost, when assumptions are allowed. Also, our youth get lost when distractions are dominant. When distractions dominant. Because Mary and Joseph did not plan for Jesus to get lost. It wasn't a destruction that caused Jesus to get lost. It wasn't a tragedy. It wasn't a car accident, storm, or hurricane. The reason why Jesus got lost because Mary and Joseph just got too busy. They just got too busy with traditions, rituals, and customs. If the devil cannot make you a bad person, he can make you a busy person. Alright. Alright. A distracted generation is a drifting generation.”

#ProgressNeedsPresence
“Here it is. Mary assumed Jesus was with Joseph, and Joseph assumed that Jesus was with Mary. They traveled 25 miles just to realize that Jesus was missing. It's just like my grandson favorite movie I have to watch 20 times at Christmas time. Home Alone. The mama was on the plane when she realized Kevin was missing. Notice Jesus didn't leave them. left Jesus. Yeah. Alright. So it's possible that you can make a move without the Messiah. It is possible you can make progress without the one who provides. It is possible that you can act without being anointed.”

#PleasingGodFirst
“This blew my mind. Eighteen years later and before Jesus did anything, god said, this is my son Yeah. In whom I'm well pleased. In other words, before Jesus performed any miracle, before he opened any door, god recognized his faithfulness. recognized obedience. God recognized his sovereignty because god said, you are my son. Yeah. Before the multitudes, god was pleased. Uh-huh. The miracles, god was pleased. Yeah. Before he began to minister, before the sermon on the mount, was pleased. Yeah. So young people, your goal in life is to please god. Yeah.”

#YouthCanBeUsed
“If God could use a rod in Moses' hand, he can use young people. If God could use a rock in David's hand, he can use young people. If God could use a donkey to carry Jesus, he can use young people. And young people, watch me. Don't allow your aides to handicap you Yes, or hinder you. Yeah. Don't allow your aides to blindfold you or barricade you. Yeah. Because in the Bible, Samuel was a boy when he heard the voice of god. Alright. David was a teenager when he defeated that giant. Yeah. Josiah was eight years old when he restored god ways. Jeremiah was young when he built the plan of God. The Hebrew boys were teenage boys when they refused to bow down. You don't have to wait until you're old to get serious with God.”

#WeAreGodsChildren
“Want you guys to know that all of you are important to god. All of you are important to god. The same god that saved pastor Davis, He can save you. The same holy spirit that led grandma can lead you. The same power the choir sing about can give you strength. Yeah. Yeah. The same god. Yeah. God doesn't have a pastor god, a deacon god, a grandma god. It's the same god. Yeah. According to my bible, god does not have any grandkids. We're his children. Yeah.”
